@readalot awesome, thanks for all that info. Good to know that we can lower HGB and HCT levels a few ways, including hydrating better. So the value out of the 3 that I mentioned that would be unaffected by total blood volume/ hydration status would be total RBC’s, correct?

RBC would also be affected. HCT/HBG/RBC all dependent on whole blood volume.

See this excellent review if you'd like to learn more:

A Methodical Approach to Interpreting the Red Blood Cell Parameters of the Complete Blood Count

See step 6 in particular and also some great insight into MCV, MCH, and MCHC.

Building on the other comments, please go see a trained hemologist-oncologist who has spent years studying and learning how to properly interpret CBC panels and other blood markers if you have a concern. Don't let this cause you immediate panic or anxiety. As I've shared with others, the ceiling on Hct should be considered based on your personal health history, age, inflammation status, inferred plasma viscosity. Hct on its own doesn't set your whole blood viscosity but does play a major role.

I started Nandrolone a few weeks ago. I take it as part of my TRT treatment along with Test cypionate. 200mgs Test/ 150mgs of Deca every week.

I've noticed a difference already in my mood. I've suffered from clinical depression and anxiety for many years.

This protocol and combo was prescribed to me by Andrew Tylander from Hormone Health and wellness at West Palm Beach Florida.

Now that I'm experiencing less pain during the night, I'm sleeping better. And because I'm sleeping better, my mood is better!

I'm much more energetic and positive as well. I'm 51 years old, and have been on TRT For almost a year. Just added Deca to my regimen. I'm looking forward to achieving better health as I continue to feel better.
Ser, any improvement or alteration in your libido?

I'm going to put this here only as a preliminary statement and with additional time may make my own post about future progress. First and foremost, I am NOT representative of most the men on this forum. I have suffered with the disabling and debilitating conditions of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia for 13 years, conditions for which the causes are unknown and for which there are little to no approved medicinal therapies much less cures. In February, I began taking .25 ml of 200 mg/ml nadrolone twice per week in addition to .40 ml of 200 mg/ml testosterone cypionate I was already taking twice per week and within three months time, I have had what I would consider nothing less than an absolute miraculous response and recovery from most of my CFS/Fibro symptoms. The transformation from someone who was constantly fatigued, in pain, and frail to someone who feels robust mentally and physically actually blows my mind a little. What is really curious is that nandrolone is never mentioned or studied as a treatment for CFS/Fibro. I believe that is mostly due to the stigma surrounding its abuse. But if this experience I'm having is real, which it is, it works and I have a guess as to why. You see, there are some theories that have been explored that CFS/Fibro may be caused at least partly by a dysregulation (mostly an excess) of nitric oxide functioning. I'm not a science bro and I have no interest in going down the rabbit holes and arguing with anyone, but my thought is that what is considered a negative aspect of nandrolone, its effect on nitric oxide, is exactly why it has relieved by symptoms of CFS/Fibro. Again, this is a relatively short term experience and I'm obviously cautiously optimistic about the future, but in my case as someone with CFS/Fibro, my experience with nandrolone thus far has been life altering. Stay tuned.

So are u taking 160mg of test cyp per week, split into two injections, and 100mg of nandrolone per week, split into two injections, or 80mg of of test cyp per week, and 50mg of nandrolone per week?

what compounding pharmacy is ur nandrolone from? Jc

ive followed Dr Lichten’s work for years now, and he’s a huge proponent of nandrolone. He’s been using androgens to treat some pretty serious illnesses for least 20 years now, and he refers to nandrolone as his “secret weapon” basically. He reports that nandrolone has anti-inflammatory properties that other androgens don’t. He also reports that nandrolone helps sugar get into the cells better than insulin. But not sure if I buy that. But anyways, do u think nandrolone‘s anti-inflammatory properties have anything to do with it helping u feel better? Dr Lichten has a bunch of old podcasts available where he talks about treating things like heart disease, crohns, lupus, and other pretty serious illnesses with androgens, and again, he credits nandrolone for a lot of these patient‘s success. He even has episodes where he has the people on and they talk about how life changing their experiences have been using the androgens he prescribes

So happy for you. Another nandrolone success story. The stuff is amazing for what you describe. Just watch your blood pressure cause it does have a tendency to increase over time taking nandrolone- and if it does, just get on a med or adjust your dose.

obv everyone is different, but I’ve been on nandrolone for years now, and my BP has remained in a very healthy range. I workout 3 times per week, eat really healthy, and minimize stress really well, so I’m sure those things play a big role in why I haven’t had any BP issues on nandrolone, but I also think a really easy and effective thing that I do, that contributes to me not having any bp issues on nandrolone, is that I try to drink two liters of mineral water per day. Usually San pellegrino out of glass bottles. But more importantly, anytime I open one I put in some liquid magnesium chloride (Remag brand), as well as some Celtic sea salt. I really think doing this helps keep my BP down. And like I said, it’s quick and easy. I’ve posted this vid so many times, but it was just a game changer for me when I initially saw it. So many people drink a ton of water, but aren’t actually hydrating their cells. Plus magnesium has been known for a long time to help lowe BP, and just do so many amazing things in the body. Highly recommend anyone to check this vid out if they haven’t already. Especially if ur having BP issues

Unless I see blood work it's TRT+ for sure (i.e, 200 mg/week equivalent of Test ester).

Add in the ND, and boom, get some swole! :)

No judgment here, just get those regular Echos and EKGs. I should put that in a signature line.
Is the main concern here Right Ventricular Hypertrophy or bombing your lipids or what?

Hey I don't doubt your story in the least and I would try to educate any guys out there with CFS/FM to do what you did if you know anyone like you from support groups etc. That being said you will take some heat for your Nitric Oxide theory because of guys getting "Deca Dick" from it and being relatively sexually disabled from resultant ED. I and my friends used some deca cycles back in the day of like 150mg/week at the high end and enjoyed phenomenal gains and no problems to speak of. A lot of movie stars like Bruce Lee, Clint Eastwood, Woody Strode, Charles Bronson etc used it back in the early days. It was all over in the California Gyms even in the 60's...

Why all the negativity here? I've had injuries that made it difficult for me to sleep (which thankfully resolved before I became overly depressed) however if they had continued for years I can see how that would be very negative for quality of life. This (so far) seems like a classic example of the power of direct benefits (pain reduction) creating a cascade of indirect benefits. Hopefully OP can back the dosages down over time but so far so good.
Ive been lurking here for a while, i see a lot of negativity and a lot “pearl clutching” whenever someone posts that theyre on a few more mg’s than what is “trt”, as if theres a standard medical limit or something.

Its like 150 mg’s per week is totally ok but 200 and now youre a juicer roid head. Lol.

Actual steroid cycles are like 500mgs or more with an oral thrown in and maybe other injectables.

I dont know why people even care, i think people should be free to experiment, just know the risks.

I couldn’t agree more with u. I just never understood/ understand why anyone would care how many mg’s someone is using, or what compounds they use. As long as guys come here with the main objective to optimize their health, longevity, happiness and well being, I really don’t see why some guys get so obsessed with someone having much higher free T levels than the average guy on HRT. I think they feel like those guys are gonna influence others and make them think that everyone should be having much higher free T levels than the average guy on HRT. But it doesn’t work like that. Theres guys here that are using statins. Doesn’t mean the rest of us feel like we need to be on statins. Some guys use cialis and viagra. Doesn’t mean any of the rest of us feel like we need to be on them to have a great sex life. Some guys use AI’s. Doesn’t mean now the rest of us feel like we need to be on AI’s. In life a good rule of thumb is never cater to the minority. Always cater to the majority. And the majority of guys here have enough common sense to know that what works for some guys, wont work for everyone, and as individuals, we can take away things from what others are doing, but at the end of the day we all need to figure out what works for us personally. And I couldn’t agree more that we should all be free to experiment and figure out what works best for ourselves as individuals. I support whatever makes other people happy, even if it’s not something I think is good, or something I would personally implement. Plenty of guys are on statins, which are one of the worst drugs u can take, imo, and not only not necessary for most people that are on them, but straight up harmful to their overall health. But at the end of the day, if it makes them happier being on them, I truly do support their decision, I really do. I’ll give guys info on why they’re horrible here and there, but at the end of the day if they still want to take them, and it makes them happier taking them, I support that decision for themselves

Absolutely. I think it’s important for everyone to know what health markers to track, and if you have that information then do what you think is right for you.

Nice you could answer your own question. Awesome.

Yes some people care to educate so that risks are known.

Big difference between information being presented vs it being absorbed and comprehended.

That is what you conclude from this painstakingly detailed thread? So be it.

Curious, you actually read the material?

Exactly. Some people think judging and ridiculing are the same thing as educating apparently

This forum should be about educating, supporting other men on their journey to happiness and a fulfilled life, and learning from others. Putting guys down and making them feel like they’re doing something wrong for pushing the envelope slightly, while trying to also focus on health, longevity and an overall happy and fulfilled life makes zero sense to me, and honestly makes me sad. Sad for this forum, and sad for the individuals that feel like they need to put others down, and judge them based on their own personal beliefs of what HRT is and isn‘t. None of us should ever make others feel bad, or put them down, or judge them harshly due to an acronym, and what that acronym means to each one of us individually. This is a forum based around hormones, health and optimization. You don’t see anyone judging others or putting them down for eating a crappy diet full of processed foods, which is obv way worse for someones health than using 200-300mg of total androgens, and/ or having a free T level double the top of the reference range. But for some reason someone using 250-300mg of total androgens is going to get harshly criticized and judged, but nobody bats an eye at the guy that’s overweight and eating a horrible diet, and taking years off his life and dramatically increasing his risk of all cause mortality. I have no idea why some guys feel like they need to be a white knight and judge and put down other men on this forum, when we’re all here for the same thing. To dial in our protocols and our lives to where we’re living our happiest and most fulfilled lives possible. What that balance is gonna look like for each person individually is gonna be very different most of the time. And we have to embrace that, instead of judge and ridicule it because it’s very different than what our personal opinions on HRT and a happy and optimum life look like.

I like your effort and passion but paragraph breaks would be helpful.

No judgment here. Currently on 160 mg/week Test Cyp. Can I get in the Androgen/no judgment club? Or do I have to break the 200 mg/week threshold for a certain amount of time?

Not sure how you or others would feel ridiculed by the extreme amount of info a few very hard working posters provide on here but oh well. That is the curse of the forums. (1) No good deed goes unpunished and (2) free shit is never valued. I appreciate your perspective but it does have an air of rationalization. Remember, the easiest person to fool is always yourself. Happy Optimizing everyone.
