Estradiol recovery

When my estradiol level plummeted a few months ago due to my excessive Anastrazole doses (.25mg nightly), y'all's opinion was that it was probably the cause of my severe myligia in my right shoulder. Since then I cut back to .25mg weekly, then as of 25 Dec I stopped Anastrazole completely. My shoulder pain has virtually disappeared. Thank you so much guys (Ero, Coastwatcher, Israel). I've scheduled a ultra sensitive estradiol assay for 26 Jan expecting my estradiol level to have climbed. My doctor is pretty much letting me call the shots as she's inexperienced with severely depleted estradiol issues. Upon receiving the lab results, if needed I'll consider a compounded very small dose daily AI to bring it to a suitable level (20-25), then fine tune by the known indicators (erections, morning/nocturnal wood, mood swings, etc.) Thanks again, y'all may have saved my life if my estradiol had zero'd out.

Yes, glad to hear you are feeling better for sure!

Your upcoming tests will tell the tale, but you may not need any AI - everybody is different, but many of us here do not. We follow the T:E Ratio theory and do not try to ever hit a specific E2 number.

You paid attention to your body, the discomfort associated with estradiol pushed too low, and then verified your subjective feelings with lab work. If you follow that general rule, you and your doctor should be able to maintain your protocol with relative ease.

DS431, I'm just northwest of Columbus. Just curious, do you have a good local doc? I use a NP over in hilliard that kind of lets me guide my TRT. She's not the most experienced but does prescribe my meds and runs my labs.
