So guys little update:

Today will be having my 2nd shot of the week at 25mg. I'm using Sustanon250 for those that don't follow my journey. Total for the week is just 50mg. This is 5x less then I used for many years back in the day. I cut down from 80mg/week because I'm healing my gut issues and don't want T to interfere with that as per some papers that were posted in my thread and discussed before.

Since starting Carnivore my chest pain has decreased like 90% I'd say straight from day one. This is fucking incredible and amazing and I can't still believe this shit. I was dealing with chronic pain for decade+. Here we are. Only 9 odd days in and I can function, sleep and enjoy my life without meds. I still have H Pylori at large and still can't workout as I'm getting exercise intollerance. Some anxiety there as well. Another thing is increased RHR and some BP increase as well, even though I'm very lean, I'm doing my cardio, etc. Might be Carnivore transition effecting it? Although H pylori has links do CV disease and increased RHR and BP(I believe). Papers are out there for anyone interested. Also I've read a lot of poor souls suffering from same over Reddit. So even though I can eat now and manage my life say 85-95% better and without pain most days, with minor flare ups here and there, I still need to get rid of this bacteria. It won't go away with just food, even though I'm not sure, maybe strict Carnivore for longer would actually starve the bug and make it go sleep, or kill it? I have no idea, this is very interesting and a grey area.

Wanted to say thanks to @Gman86 once again for talking me into trying it, so salute brother, you really have helped me on this! As a matter of fact 2 last days I have tried to introduce one fruit - that is sweet af big cherries we found in Polish shop. My girl was having them and I said fuck it lets try and you know what, for 2 days having around 150g each day was absolutely fine and went down just like that, zero bad symptoms, also next day fine. Also yesterday I tried whipping some double cream with some Splenda and a few cherry flawor drops for taste. Went down just like that as well and was before sleep also. Slept great. Woke up pain free and still havent had breakfast for like 3 hours as I'm typing this fasted. Starting to feel just a bit discomfort just now so def it works for me as well. Had some blue cheese which was good as well but not that good as hard cheese. Also been having some lamb liver as well. Going to prepare some ground beef for breakfast now and start the day right till I cure H Pylori and can start re-introducing few foods, as we discussed earlier ;)

Hope you guys are killing it!

Best regards,
Bel

p.s. also shout out to all the Gs who helped me since I came to this forum @readalot @FunkOdyssey @sammmy and my bad if I forgot anyone. Salute champs!
About the RHR, this is not unusual when starting a low carb or zero carb diet and it reflects increased adrenaline and cortisol needed to maintain blood sugar levels. It should come down as you become keto-adapted if you stay at this low level. Alternatively, you could try to increase consumption of safe'ish fast digesting carbs and that will bring down the stress hormones and heart rate. Safe is a relative term though so be careful, too much of even something like jasmine rice might get you in trouble with the reflux again.

In my experience, going from 0 to just 50-75 g of carbs daily makes the difference to calm down that high stress state.

Yes I agree with everything you wrote. Def I became more anxious and weak when switched to Carnivore a week+ ago. Noticed higher RHR and more tired in the evening with a bit elevated BP then I normally have. It's been a mission to eat 3000kcal to maintain and some days I ate way lower and created a big deficit. I continue to lose weight, but having a high protein intake from mainly beef I hope I'm losing more fat then muscle. At the BF% I am now I probably need more then 3000kcal just to maintain. I'm way below my expected BW and thus I know it impacts how I feel and everything else.

Yes I will stay and eat the way I'm eating now and won't try reintroducing any new food groups till I get done with HP antibiotics treatment which I still haven't started. Fuck, I hate to do a third round, but also I don't want to take a gamble and hope that Carnivore/Ketovore will kill the bug either, as hope is not a strategy. Cherries work great for me and also double cream yesterday was fantastic, filled me up quick and felt great. So might use a bit more of it to cover some of the deficit going forward. Agree also on the "safe" term. Safe for who? Most foods that were safe and recommended just fucked me up and never worked, so like you say it's all relative. We all so different and unique and thats what I like about us. A living puzzle that rotates with time hehe

Also there might be a possibility that I do digest carbs but only up to a certain amount. But I won't go ahead experiment, for now. Been doing that for more then decade with hit and miss results. So better safe then sorry and baby steps. Slow progress is better then no progress.

p.s. I def feel more adrenaline and cortisol, no doubt about that!

Do you have normal stools or diarrhea on your current diet? How many per day?

This evaluates digestion and absorption.
Perfect stools with minimal poo inside. Everything gets digested. The best I've ever seen. I can eat 1-1.5kg of meat and next day or day after next I pretty much shit like a rabbit lol Thats pretty impressive from what I've seen over the years.

It‘s so funny what humans can get used to and view as normal, simply because it’s what they’re used to, and it’s what everyone around them is used to. Having a decent sized bowel movement daily, or even multiple times per day, as examples. Feces is just waste that we clearly didn’t absorb. Ideally we’re supposed to digest and absorb most, if not all of what we consume. Hence why carnivores commonly report having small bowel movements every few days

There is a stool test for elastase that evaluates if you produce enough digestive enzymes from the pancreas. I personally don't, so I take prescription enzymes Creon (raw pig pancreas) which really helps digesting proteins.

If the fatigue does not resolve in several weeks on your current diet, you can try adding fruits that contain proteolytic enzymes or buy supplements with those. Overdoing those may lead to intestinal irritation or diarrhea, so they are not completely harmless:

Absolutely. Over the years I'm finding that I'm the opposite of whats preached as normal etc, but then again, I never felt nor wanted to be normal lol Straight alien here with a bad ass story to tell one day ; ) Pain wears you out over the years, thus every day spent without pain is a great day and I cherrish the moments, try to laugh and joke as much as I can, and just be happy playing the cards I've been dealt. You already know ; ) Regarding bowel movements it feels like I can eat and eat and eat for days and everything gets absorbed just like that. It's wild man...

I hear ya. Did you always have this problem? I have zero problem digesting meat when I'm eating it alone without any sides or vegs. With any side or veg well thats a different story and I'm far from trying that out. I'm enjoying some life after all that pain and desperation. Feels surreal...

Regarding the fatigue yeah I will see and if the switch won't happen I'll add some fruit. I'm also getting very lean so that attributes to that as well fwiw. Sleep is still good though.

My problem started in 2018, manifesting first as unexplained "shortness of breath". In 2021 I started getting headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and depression after meals and realized it is a digestive problem, not a problem in the lungs. Several stool elastase test confirmed it in 2023, so I finally got on prescription enzymes which seems to work better than the plant enzyme combo that I was using before, especially with protein digestion.

Glad you feeling better. Any idea why it all went down like this? I might do this stool elastase test as well in the near future and perhaps even the NHS can do it.

The root cause is still undiagnosed but could range from a problem with the pancreas to damaged intestinal mucosa, not communicating properly with the pancreas to release the enzymes. I also have low CO2 (carbonate) in blood, which suggests that insufficient carbonate is produced in the interstinal mucosa and by the pancreas.

H. Pilory or other intestinal infection could damage mucosa and play role but current medicine does not have a clear understanding of that.

Today watching about cholesterol and Pater Attia is murdered on this one by Professor Bart Kay LOL Not much else to do as my energy levels from Carnivore are still low AF, also sleep has started to be impacted as well, and still losing weight. FWIW today barely was able to swallow ground beef for breakfast LOL

Thank you for posting. We could start a whole new thread on this my Brother. Going to watch the whole thing and maybe start a new thread! This material deserves a very cautious deeper dive. Otherwise we would all be free to run 100 mg of stanozolol a day barring any concern of liver issues.

Thanks for linking this. After reading the comments for 2 mins I can’t wait to watch it

sucks ur energy levels are suffering. Maybe try slowly introducing some fairly benign carb sources, like the ones we’ve talked about. Raw honey, white rice, fruit. Imo, the #1 source for animal based diet info is dr Paul Saladino. The guy is a walking computer, and is my go to for anything diet related. He’s probably done more research into an animal based diet than anyone I can think of, and even he eats quite a bit of carbs everyday. Around 150-200g/ day I’m pretty sure. He gets his carbs mostly from raw honey and fruit. So maybe try slowly introducing some of those foods urself, and see if u still can get the benefits u received from going mostly carnivore. Try to find a nice balance that works for ya

YW. I watched it all and enjoyed it. Will watch his other videos as well.

Yeah, energy levels are fucked up big time. Been having more cheese with my beef as its impossible for me to eat required amount of food eating ground beef only unless I get creative. I will continue to suffer for a bit longer and see what happens. Have my better halfs b-day next weekend so will eat whatever I want and afterwards will probably start my H Pylori antibiotics regiment #3. Which sucks but has to be done. So won't be able to eat any meat/protein for 7 days once taking meds. Will have to have some easy digesting carbs or sth in that manner. Yeah I've seen a lot of Saladinos videos and I like honey and fruit as well. Might try to reintroduce some and will see if anything works. Beef, hard cheese seems to work the best. Do you eat your carbs with meat/protein together or split them up?

YW brother and enjoy. Thats a very complicated and delicate topic so not sure it will go anywhere given the fact that most have no idea what time it is when it comes to cholesterol. I'd love to have this professor and some plant based MDs discussing this exact topic. Would be fun.

Anyone here have experience with Female HRT or T monotherapy? I've been researching as much as possible on this topic lately as will be trying to put my girl on a protocol as shes been struggling a lot over the years and now as shes approaching her 48th b-day she got even more MP looking symptoms. All her other symptoms are exactly as Low-T but severe FWIW. Will be trying to press NHS GP next week to run some hormone and thyroid tests but I doubt anything valuable will happen but still maybe will save us a few pounds. Will be ordering some labs to see whats under the hood to have some baseline #s. She also is going to remove her contraceptic implant as it has fucked up her mental health and not only in the last couple years she had it. Should have never got it in first place. Nasty fucking stuff and so many girls struggling if you start digging deeper. Live and learn. I sincerely hope I will be able to help her at least feel some better as its painful to watch her suffer so bad day in day out. I would have put her on low dose T already but still want to remove that fucking implant first, wait a little bit and run some labs. Was nearly about to pull the trigger but patience is a virtue and gotta do as per plan.

So anyone have experience- hit me up. Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Bel

I always eat them all together. Breakfast is 15/85 ground beef, rice, honey all mixed together. Lunch is cut up steak, rice, honey, and ghee, all mixed together. And dinner is the exact same thing as lunch. When I cook each meal I basically just put everything into a frying pan and cook it all up together. I cook everything in the morning. Takes me about 30 mins. I cook the two steak meals, put them in food thermoses. And then cook my breakfast and eat it right after I make it. Then I have my other two meals in thermoses for whenever I end up eating them throughout the day. Food thermoses have changed the game for me. They’ve allowed me to stay super consistent with my diet, and get all the calories and micronutrients I need everyday

@Belekas I wish we knew if the h pylori would eventually resolve itself if u stuck to as close to full carnivore as u can for a while. My gut is telling me it would resolve itself (pun intended lol) but I really don’t know. I just know antibiotics are one of the worst things u can put in ur body. Can take years and years to fully recover from even one round of them. Sometimes they’re necessary tho, unfortunately. I’d personally only take them if I was like gonna die if I didn’t lol. Otherwise I’m not putting them in my body. Once u know the destruction they cause in the body, and how long it takes to recover from the damage they cause, it’s hard to justify taking them unless u absolutely need to
