big fan of cod liver oil: Green Pasture Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil Liquid, or just buy canned cod liver (actually tastes pretty good) King Oscar Cod Liver in Own Oil, 6.67 Ounce
By "top quality" I mean in terms of purity, freshness, strength...I'm already aware of Nelson's recommendation, Nordic Naturals, but are there others?
I've been using a bottom shelf brand, but I'm going to switch after reading about rancidity in many brands.
The fermented cod/skate liver oil I use it because it's real fermented oil. All the extra nutrition just missing in other foods. It's nice that it has mega threes but that's not my main concern with this oil.Would be far better off consuming sardines or wild salmon often as not only are they high in omega 3s but are very nutrient dense along with good serving of high quality protein.

It actually contains some amounts of natural vitamin D2Nor should it be!
You would be far better of relying on fermented foods such as kefir/sauerkraut/kimchi/natto to name a few as oppose to a measly teaspoon of oil and if anything the main benefit of the fermented cod liver oil is the Vitamin A/D.
Any guesses as to how many cans of sardines I'd have to eat to approach "3 grams of EPA/DHA combined"? Or, would 3 grams even be necessary considering the whole food source?Would be far better off consuming sardines or wild salmon often as not only are they high in omega 3s but are very nutrient dense along with good serving of high quality protein.
