But you know how much tadalafil is in one pill - 20mg.

So, if you want 5mg, that's a quarter of that.

Whatever 20mg pill you have, you weigh one. Mine are about 0.348 grams.

Then for a quarter, divide by 4 - with a calculator (most PCs have one in "Accessories" or you can even do a calculation by typing it in Google.com).

In my case, that is 0.087 grams for a quarter of a pill (5gm of tadalafil). So, if I split the weird shaped pills and the pieces are 0.12 and 0.05 grams, I know they are way too big and too small. What I am probably going to do is crush those and weigh out 0.087 gram amounts of the crushed pills on the scale.

The scale (linked in the previous post) actually weights that finely - it is made for stuff like gems where tiny fractions of weight can make a difference.

So, the first step is always to weigh one whole pill, then you know how much 20mg weighs.

Is that scale good enough for "compounding" your own low dose anastrozole? I've read about guys who grind up a 1mg anastrozole, mix it with a binder like calcium carbonate or something similar, and then dividing it up to the dose that they want.

You should read the customer comments on the scale, they can give you some idea of the accuracy.

I suppose it would depend on how much binder - i.e. how much total weight.

The scale is about $25, and apparently the next level up of accuracy is $100-$200.

And it also depends on how critical it is for it to be accurate. In the case of tadalafil, if you end up with 4.5mg instead of 5mg, it is not a big deal.

BTW, with the scale in the link - follow the setup directions that are included. It's easy, but it is important to use the included two weights to calibrate it before your first use.

A web search shows that tadalafil is insoluble in water, and poorly dissolves in any liquid. (This is why the "Liquid Cia" users describe having to shake the product every time. That aside from the fact that I am not interested in the product because they won't disclose what is in it, aside from the "cia", and even then you don't know which tweaker chemist made it in his trailer.)

Crushing a pill in a pill crusher creates a powder that you can potion out equally well using the scale.

No doubt cutting or crushing will work, I was just thinking easier dosing and several tablets won't disolve in water but I was thinking vodka since it will work for some. It's definitely bad when you don't know the extra ingredients in a product, good luck with your search.

I use "Liquid Cia" and it works...wonderfully I might add.

As far as not "knowing" what's in it...think about that same thing every time you purchase your vitamins, or any supplement for that matter, that is not regulated...you have no idea where it was made and what you are ingesting.

I don't doubt that "Liquid Cia" works - otherwise they wouldn't get any repeat orders.

However, if I am ingesting something daily, I would rather have some indication that it does not have heavy metals or other contaminants.

I assembled all ingredients, except the Cialis which is on its way, I have been taking another form of a N.O. stack for almost 4 years.

I feel like my body is on high octane fuel. Im an energetic man anyway, OMG, this is possibly a small side effect for me? I don't have a recreational drug history but can only imagine that this is what it might be like to take an nice upper <G>.

Anyone else have a similar reaction ?

Great thread! Glad I found it!

Doc already has me on Doxazosin but 2mg which I take at night. He also has me on 5mg of daily Cialis.
Horny Goat Weed did nothing for me but I think the Pycnogenol and L-Arginine L-Citrulline Complex would.

Any ideas about dropping the Icariin and modifying your stack? Total dosages are right, its just the timing and dropping the Icariin.

I workout regularly and play ice hockey. So for someone my age, I'm 50, I'm in good shape. I'm just not a kid anymore!

I'm not sure if this question has been asked but can I buy these products in bulk (minus the pharmaceuticals, I will take them separately) and then add them to juice and sip it throughout the day? I have done this with other supplements and I find it much more convenient and cheaper.

I really don't think that would work. Especially on the prescription drug side of the stack. Those pills are going to be tiny. I also think its cost prohibitive but maybe someone else can chime in?

I can say I use a modified version of this (less l-Arginine and less L-Citrulline but still as a complex) I feel fantastic and it works!

Sorry, I should have stated my question more clearly. I meant elimination the prescription drugs entirely from my "drink" and taking them separately. I'll edit my post if possible to clear that up.

L-Citrulline is probably the most important part of the stack.
L-Arginine is only helpful a half hour before a workout (of whatever kind ), because it dissipates quickly.

L-Citrulline is an amino acid. It is turned into L-arginine in the kidneys after supplementation, which means L-citrulline supplementation is a more effective method of increasing L-arginine levels in the body than L-arginine supplementation.

By the way, amazingly enough, you can make the stack more delicious by adding one-third of a Lindt or other brand 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate bar daily - more studies have been done demonstrating blood flow improvement from Cocoa flavonols than any other supplement. See:

( That's something like 75 cents a day extra expense, OR you can substitute it for the Pycnogenol, since the mechanism of action is probably similar. )

They talk about dosages in the Examine.com link, and Gene has suggestions in the first post of the thread. (In the Examine.com articles, note that they will have a lot of technical details, but they put a Summary at the top, along with "How to Take" and "Editors Thoughts", which are all relatively non-technical.)

The article mentions that Citrulline Malate has less Citrulline than "Free Form", so just get the latter (which tastes neutral, while the Malate tastes bitter).

In terms of brands, just read customer reviews on Amazon.com or whatever site you use to buy supplements. Generally the amino acids are not hard to make, so you are looking for just the usual supplement supplier qualities of cleanliness, reliability, etc.

Yes, amino acids are best taken on empty stomach.

Takes about 20 minutes for food to leave your stomach after you eat so 30 mins you should be good to go!

I started Gene's stacker but have not received my Tadalafil from Securetabs and Doxazosin. Expecting them as soon as possible meaning couple weeks most likely.
I did have two 10 mgs of Tadalafil and used those once a night as per Gene's suggestion if you don't have 5 mgs twice a day. Nothing the first day but woke up last night with about 3/4 wood. Not sure I can attribute that to the Tadalafil or the other ingredients but I hope once I do have the entire list good things happen. At the gym I can't honestly say I have seen a great difference but I am not one to spend more than an hour 5-6 days a week there. I do interval training, weights but not a lot and stretching.
Will report the results once I am on the full regiment of Gene's stacked ingredients.
