I agree that’s the case with most clinics. Defy is now telehealth, but I’m local to them and most of my appointments before the pandemic were in person. I’ve never been to any medical provider of any kind that spent a full hour with me every single time I met them. These guys do, unless I specifically tell them that all my questions have been answered.
I’ve also emailed them between consults and received a callback from the doctor himself to discuss my question. If that’s not good patient care, I don’t know what is. All that being said, educating yourself and advocating for yourself is always a good idea.
