Starting Clomid for TRT w/labs (possible subclinical thyroid)

I made the decision in April to take a look and see what was going on with my hormones after dealing several years with feeling down, lethargic and just off. I am currently 37 yrs old, 6ft tall and weigh 168lbs. When I reviewed the first round of blood work I saw what to me looks like a thyroid issue (possibly subclinical) and low T.

Free T4 - 0.90 ng/dL (0.58-1.64) ng/dL
TSH - 2.64 mU/mL (0.34-5.00) mU/L
Free T3 - 2.72 pg/mL (2.50-4.30) pg/mL

Albumin - 4.7 g/dL (3.7-5.2) g/dL
LH - 3.38 mIU/mL (1.24-8.62) mIU/mL
Lymphs (Absolute) - 3.2 x10E3/uL (0.7-3.1) x10E3/uL
Eos (Absolute) - 1.0 x10E3/uL (0.0-0.4) x10E3/uL
Vitamin D 43.9 ng/mL (30.0-100.0) ng/mL
IGF-1 194 ng/mL

Estradiol Sensitive - 10.2 pg/mL (8.0-35.0) pg/mL
DHT - 8.9 ng/dL
DHEA - 157.7 ug/dL (102.6-416.3) ug/dL
Test - 241.34 ng/dL (205.00-781.00) ng/dL
SHBG - 21.1 nmol/L (13.3-89.5) nmoI/L
Free Test 2.44 % (1.60-2.90) %
Free Test 59 pg/mL (33-227) pg/mL
Test Bioavailable 138 ng/dL (131-682) ng/dL

I had a panel review with my doctor in June he prescribed the following regimen:
  • Clomid 12.5 mg ED
  • Anastrozole 0.125mg EOD
  • DHEA 25 mg by mouth every night
  • Vitamin D3 10000 iu daily
  • Fish oil 3-4 g ED
  • Armour Thyroid (NDT) 1/2 grain cap q am - 30 min before food - May increase by 1/2 grain q 2 weeks up to 2 grains
After I reviewed the plan I slightly adjusted what was recommend as I was not sure how I felt taking Clomid every day and I wanted to get a full panel for my Thyroid before I started Armor. I also did not want to take the Anastrozole. So I went with the following:
  • Clomid 12.5 mg by mouth EOD
  • DHEA 25 mg by mouth every night
  • Vitamin D3 10000 iu daily
  • Fish oil 4 g ED
I had my second round of labs done in July and decided to get a full thyroid panel test. Doctor only asked for some specific labs for hormones (T, T free, LH, VIT D 3, FT3). However, thinking back I wish I had gotten additional lab work because I am not sure about how Clomid is truly working not knowing SHBG, DHEA, Estradiol, etc. Viewing the results of the full thyroid I am thinking that there may be some type of autoimmune issue seeing the antibodies in the Thyroid panel. I don't really have a good idea about my Bioavaible T as I don't know my Albumin or SHBG. I also don't know how my DHEA or Estradiol has changed. I meet with my doc this Friday to review my labs any thoughts or questions you would ask?

Free T4 - 1.32 ng/dL (0.82-1.77) ng/dL
TSH - 3.01 mIU/mL (0.450-4.500) mIU/mL
Free T3 - 3.00 pg/mL (2.0-4.4) pg/mL
Reverse T3 - 17.1 ng/dL (9.2-24.1) ng/dL
Thyroid Peroxidase - 20 IU/mL (0-34) IU/mL
Thyroglobulin Antibody - 8.8 IU/mL (0.0-0.9) IU/mL

Test - 684 ng/dL (265-916) ng/dL
Free Test - 18.8 pg/mL (8.7-25.1) pg/mL
LH - 6.1 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6) mIU/mL

Vitamin D - 56.8 ng/mL (30.0-100.0) ng/mL

I have read some books on Hashimotos (my father has it). I also have a variant for celiac so I have removed all grains and increased my selenium to 200 mcg daily. I also added in a supplement called pH Adjust (Potassium and Sodium Bicarbonate and Magnesium Carbonate) to see if it will help reduce my immune response.
