Review: Novel Mechanisms of DHEA Action

DHEA to me I take the same position on it as Anastrzole, should never be a basic inclusion in some one's protocol and not even based on testing, it should be used with caution. As my friend CW posted it can be wrought with E problems for some guys no matter what form or how it's taken. Often dosed too high, too 2 25-50mg. Anyone using DHEA should consider a low 5-10mg dose that tirates upward based on tolerance. Just because a test reads "low" doesn't mean you need it or should take it.

For me I only use DHEA, to keep my levels of in the normal range. Making sure they're not too high. I supplement with 25 mg every morning after breakfast. Using it before bedtime keeps me awake.

I always thought it was somehow suppressive to my system, but lately I have been experimenting and benefitting with higher dosages and post-workout earlier in the day, timing. I am using 100mg and it seems to be helping my lifting and afternoon energy. I take it right after lunch following my workouts.

I was excited to add it to my protocol a while, a good while, ago and my doctor asked me to explain why it was necessary. My levels were normal, I'd brought my E2 into line without an AI and I felt great. When she put it that way, and after digging in and seeing some of the problems guys here report with it, I realized it wasn't in my future.

I would have to agree with you, it's not something everyone should supplement with.
