IM vs. SC

advantages and disadvantages of Cypionate IM vs. SC as far as the effect on testosterone levels. Is there is difference?
For many people, yes absolutely, big difference! For you? We have no idea.

Using made up numbers, 20% of people will prefer SC injections and have better results. 50% of people will see no difference at all between SC and IM. 30% of people will have significantly lower testosterone levels and higher E2 with SC (and higher T and lower E2 with IM).

Was this response helpful? I won't be offended if you say no, because the only way to answer this question is for every individual to try both.

In controlled studies, no differences have been observed in total absorption. That is, total areas under the serum level response curves are similar for IM and SC. However, the response curves may have different shapes that vary with the delivery method, and also between individuals. In particular, it's generally expected that serum levels may rise higher and fall lower with IM compared to SC. However, average levels attained by the differing injection methods remain about the same.

Contradictory anecdotal reports must be considered suspect because they are extrapolating from one or two measurements, rather than taking samples every hour or so. Even so, it's quite plausible that the differing response curves result in differing subjective responses, and possibly even in differing rates of aromatization. It's an area that needs further study.
