thought there was a big difference between estradiol sensitivity vs standard test. I am assuming this will vary from guy to guy

No, usually a sensitive and non sensitive E2 test will come back very close to one another. Unless ur dealing with a very low E2 reading. A standard E2 test will not be as accurate as a sensitive E2 test if ur E2 level is very low. That’s at least my understanding. But I used to get both the standard E2 and sensitive E2 test done during each set of labs for a while, and for the most part they always came back pretty close to one another

And vary from test to test, because lab testing isn’t prefect. The sensitive method relays on technician skill to be accurate.
