The issue I feel is more of an issue with the processed sugar rather than eating whole raw fruit. I can show you from a test that I have tried myself where I was on a vegan (fruit based) diet vs the normal Standard American Diet and how my blood work changed for the worst on the SAD diet. I started my day with a fruit smoothie, lunch was fruit of some kind and dinner was dark green veggies and fruit. Being the only person in the house eating that way made it unsustainable but I have test from April 2013 and July 2013 that show it works.
