Colorado's First Recreational Dispensaries Set to Open on January 1, 2014

Colorado's first recreational dispensaries are officially set to open on January 1. While it's a fluid situation--and history in the making--the state of Colorado issued 348 licenses to operate this week, 42 of which will be able to function come January 1, 2014. This news means that it's official: licensed recreational dispensaries will be able to sell weed to anyone 21 and over come January 1. Weedmaps has compiled a list of the nine recreational facilities that will certainly be open on January 1, along with an FAQ for both Colorado residents and out of state visitors.

I've been seeing where some collisions are going to happen with people thinking they're perfectly safe to smoke MJ in Colo., but then their employers can/will terminate them when they fail the drug tests. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out ...
