Cialis Not working, Highest Dosage?

Alright, so the effects of Cialis have really started to dwindle. Yesterday I took 20mg and I really couldn't even feel it. When I used to take 10 my penis would look large and in charge even when it was flaccid and I could get a rock hard erection in a moments notice. Has my body adapted to it? Whats the highest dosage anyone has tried? Any other input?

5 years, but it stopped being as effective within the last year and a half. I take 20mg and if I take it for two days it is most effective the end of the second day through the third day where I havent taken it. I use generics out of Canada. I found the stuff from India to not be as good.

I have taken up to 30 mg. I am with Morgentaler’s clinic in Boston and they say you can take up to 40. I personally don’t. I combine it with sildenafil, which works great. Personally, I feel the erections from sildenafil far better.

Cialis or viagra never helped me at all. I just get a flushed face and a headache. EQ is not any better at all either for me.

Personally I love the both Cialis and Viagra. I still go through reliable rx. If I feel like I need a higher dose, I just increase it. At this point I’ve never had any issues.

I am also from Canada. My insurance only covers generic. I find some generics better than others. Pharamcy always switching up different generics every month.

I’ve used 200 MG Viagra plenty of times. I Also have used 20 MG of Cialis twice a day. Zero issues, I am 65 years old though.

I am taking 3mg Cialis a day and add 50mg Viagra for added duration when I can. I am nervous about escalating these dosages and ultimately not being able to use these drugs anymore. (I am 53 and have some mild venous leak).

No I'm not concerned. I do like all the health benefits for using ED meds.

Thanks Vince. I am going to still use them as sparingly as possible, as these dosages seem to work fine for the moment. My hope is that if I am doing all of the right things for my vascular system and my hormones are in good shape that the drugs should keeping working at reasonable dosages. Of course that will change as I age more...

Sounds like you had my problem. I recommend seeing a Urologist who specializes in sexual health and get a Doppler test. Doppler measures blood flow in and out of penis. From there you'll know if you're past the point PED5 drugs working. Yes, over time their effect diminishes. I was past the point. And I was mid 50's in good health otherwise. Long story short, don't waste time wishing for a fix, just get checked out soon. You will lose penile length and girth the longer you do not have erections.
I chose to have a penile implant. I'm incredibly happy with the result (it's been 8 months). I have a rock hard erection in 30 seconds , every time , like a teenager. With an implant , you ejaculate and stay hard if you like. No pills , no waiting for drugs to kick in, no headaches afterward, just great sex. The KEY is to find an experienced Implanter. Cialis doesn't work the same but Viagra still gets me going for sure. Honestly I don't have full blown ED. I think its more an issue with Cialis specifically. I used to be a freaking beast with a pretty low dose.

try a different manufacturer of cialis. Also make sure it’s not from India. Prasco labs (USA) makes an authorized generic of cialis. Teva pharmaceuticals from Israel is ok too. You may have to look up the distributor and manufacturer. In addition, try taking a low dose daily whether in am or pm it broken up in 2 doses for both am and pm so it stays in your system. Then on the days it’s on, take an extra one. ED drugs lose potency After you work out too. Cialis is known to aid in testosterone levels And helps give a great pump in workouts. So on hard workout days you may need an extra dose.
I take a daily 5mg on empty stomach and don’t eat at least 1 hour afterward to make sure it’s absorbs. On days i lift or exercise much harder I throw in an extra one afterwards or at night.
