Wow that’s so weird. Have u googled what can cause elevated B6 levels? There’s obv got to be something making it go so high. I’m curious now what it could be
I have stopped taking b12, the above just in case. I really don’t know why it’s high I am not on multivitamins only d and b 12. Nothing serious.

Saturday I am seeing a doctor and soon defy.

Maybe wrong reading I need to check this possibility also…. I guess.

Thank you so much for this thread.
I’ve tested homocysteine but am waiting on results still. This bodily process of methylation is vast and controls thousands of genes.

Two days ago I began supplementing with the primary culprits related to this:

B vitamins (dose matters)
(riboflavin,b6, b12 are most relevant)
Choline 1.5g
TMG 1.25g 2x daily
Creatine 4.5g
Eating more red meat.

ive continued apolactoferrin due to my slightly elevated ferritin.

I’ve never had but 2 or three times morning wood during this whole trt experience. Yesterday had morning wood. Today had rock solid morning wood.

I am MTHFR positive and have been on B vitamin therapy for about 6 years (under the guidance of my doctor). I take Methyl CPG (3 different B vitamins) and a Methyl B12 sublingual. I have lowered my homocysteine from the 15 range to down around 8.0. This therapy, combined with TRT and Lisinopril (ACE inhibitor), have helped my circulation, erections and BP. However, it certainly takes awhile, and I can't isolate which of the three has helped more. Oh, I also take daily Cialis 2.5mg. Age 54.

Vince I found this

Problems in MTHFR gene can cause high b6 !!!!
Not only this they say high b6 is actually mean i am deficient and need to take active forum of b6 !!!!!

now that something, how can I know if I have problems in mrhfr gene ? Is it a test ?

Yes. Take the 23andme and then upload your data into a nutrition site that analyses this. I took at and I have the mutation. Never really thought too much about it but your thread has changed my mind a bit.

Riboflavin may be the answer because riboflavin is necessary to convert b6 into p5p. I’ve read in one place that riboflavin is the place to start along with methyfolate.

I can’t find where I read it. It was yesterday. The b complex I have is perfect I’ll take a picture when I’m home. 10mg max of b6
5 mg max of riboflavin .5 mg methyl folate.

Your doctor can test for it. Before I was tested, I always used Methyl. That way I knew I was safe. Luckily I made a right call.

What type of doctor should I check with for the mthfr ?
I would think, your family doctor. It's a common test and very inexpensive.

Next time you get your cholesterol levels checked. I would just request Methyl test.
