i recently tried only 1.25mg of the Douglas sublingual and totally felt drugged up. i had indigestion and some irregular heart beat (maybe the indigestion caused it because that usually does for me). i did feel more calm. does anyone else have these sides?
ok that sounds like what i got then. did you ever use any AAS or rec drugs? also what is your age? do you only take dhea or are you also on test and/or hcg? sorry for all the q's i'm trying to figure out what to do
you're saying that taking dhea makes your mid-level preg go OVER the range? wow i'm even more confused now than ever before. i may need to have a consult with my HRT doc about what to do. the more i read the more i'm confused. i did read about it potentially making you lose wood. this goes along...
by the way, ever heard of pine pollen? they say its the only natural herb out there that can boost DHEA? i guess anything that boosts DHEA can invariably boost DHT. i recall now. i used like .5mg arimidex eod with the tribulus. so of course the only conversion left = DHT = good bye hair.
it was 14 years ago in 2010. a brand called Tribest 750, not Tribex. but it was made by MRM which does make Tribex also. That brand is real solid but who knows, i believe it was all trib, it is known to raise DHT incredibly. 2 caps each at 750 = 1500. i felt like i was a pornstar but it just...
interesting. would it be a bad idea to start with preg if i already produce 87 to get my DHEA up? I'm guessing it would increase my progesterone and then cortisol which could even deplete my DHEA but i guess that is only if I was stressed out and needed the cortisol i suppose. Or just go with...
wow interesting on using both. i was going to ask what is the preferred method because i have bottles of both but was going to start with 1.25mg sublingual. i know that sounds ridiculous but im highly sensitive to everything and also barely weigh 120. about trib, i'll never use that again...
i'm not sure but i wouldn't have went on T if i were you. you actually don't seem to need it. i believe your free T could have been resolved by using avena sativa and just training. there are other ways to reduce SHBG. but then again i don't know. this stuff really is too confusing. if your preg...
i know this is an old post but more reason why this stuff is just absolutely variable. you would think to generate that much DHEA naturally, your preg would have to be high but nope. just goes to show maybe that steroid pathway chart isn't as correct as everyone thinks or maybe each person has...
that's true. all of us are different and this field will never be concrete. there are too many variables.
hair loss was once touted to be just mysterious and "genetic" but we know its only DHT that causes it. that "genetic" component means that individual seems to convert more DHT and not only...
i appreciate your input but i have not actually gone that far because at this point i figure doctors wouldn't be able to figure out the root cause. they'll just tell me i have "inflammation" because clearly something will come up. there might be one doctor out somewhere that can correlate my low...
are you still using DHEA? did the hypertension resolve on its own? i believe this is a side effect of either DHT -> CNS stimulation or estrogen -> edema.
it is not a coincidence. it took me nearly 2 decades to realize that it is my adrenal glands that were damaged (to a degree) i tried all that. it doesn't help. i got it all down to adrenal hormones. i've been asking men on other forums if they have abdominal pain from low DHEA and they say they...
@BillyJ03z i think this is due to TRT lowering your DHEA and/or pregnenolone. Look up Dave Lee on youtube about DHEA/preg and anhedonia. I couldn't use TRT without HCG. It made me feel lifeless. Im off everything now and I feel anhedonic but I have low DHEA and low T so I believe I have anxiety...
If you were low, you still need to use it unless you don't have any symptoms but typically low DHEA will manifest with digestive issues, noise sensitivity or tinnitus, irritability, anxiety, depression, dry skin, weakness, fatigue and who knows what else
the Douglas is micronized but I was wondering if you have any update for us? Did the pharm grade work better? I would believe it is better but I heard Douglas is a very reputable brand
I'm glad to hear HCG increased DHEA. However, you had 484. Why you were taking DHEA to begin with. What was your DHEA level before the 484? Did the HCG or DHEA come first? Were you on the same dose of HCG for a while before that?
I believe that it does increase DHEA for some people. I did a...
i did mention i took trenbolone. this "steroid" which doesn't deserve to be even called one, seems like it damaged my adrenal cortex to a degree. the cortex produces cortisol, aldosterone and DHEA. my aldosterone tested bottom range and so did DHEA. cortisol comes back perfect but maybe that is...
yes i believe the body prioritizes cortisol over DHEA regardless. they do seem to oppose each other, especially since DHEA itself is straight DHEA, not an herb that may assist the adrenal glands as a whole. after doing research, i concluded i wouldn't ever use DHEA without using licorice root...
by the way i wanted to mention that 6 years ago on HRT i too had mid range DHEA. i didnt know how important it was, my doc just wanted to test everything. they say that on HRT, some can get an increase but it isn't much. also, since i was mid-range, i believe that the symptoms "may" have...
you had way too much estrogen on it. one MD states he uses only DHEA to raise total test but must be used with an AI. i would really like for you to go through those blood tests if possible. do you remember when exactly you used which brand? i know i am asking quite a bit, but I'm doing a lot of...
interesting. because i too, have very low E2 levels. sometimes they have been undetectable. i use deer antler which increases it a bit. if i eat foods that increase it, i just end up looking bloated and losing any erections. but trust me, i've had these symptoms with low or high e2 for 20 years...
i was thrilled to hear that you stopped all the supplements and vitamins because i believe most people are doing more harm than good by using them. there are no regulations for these supplements. these companies are snakes and can put (and do put) whatever they want in there and they are allowed...
I've been reading other forums of people having permanent side effects from either preg or DHEA and it is quite scary. even street drugs like LSD or shrroms or X sound safer. I really did not think it could be possible
has there been any improvement? i wonder if there were other ingredients in there that caused it. i bought a topical life flo brand but i wont use it after looking at all the ingredients in there. who knows what these things can do.
i know this is an old post but i would really like some updates if you are still around. i am wanting to use DHEA but terrified of those heart sides. i cant tolerate any stimulants, even herbs like Gaia adrenal stuff made me hyper. im 41 and my DHEA is 110 (93 - 415). ive got the Douglas...
the 5mg is a sublingual dose. it is equal to 25mg of the regular capsules because it does not have to pass through the digestive tract or liver. i believe i will be starting this DHEA soon because no herbs have been able to raise it enough. i just hope it doesn't cause weird side effects or shut...
