What people don't know is that many tests that you do at your doctor's office are not actually accurate. Do NOT trust any single test. That's why they are called "tests".
I am currently "negative" on SEVERAL stool antigen tests for H Pylori but positive on GI-MAP (which is a way more sensitive stool PCR test). The stool PCR test is the most sensitive for H Pylori and you should wait to see if it will detect any bacteria. You are negative, only if it shows no count.
Also, I did a celiac blood test at my doctor's office which was negative, but the gliadin test which is part of GI-MAP clearly showed I am reacting to gluten, and I really get sleepy after I eat anything with wheat. So start eating gluten before the GI-MAP. If you have sensitivity, the test will detect it. If you don't eat gluten, your antibodies reacting to gliadin may get lower and the test will not show you anything.
