I don't think taking shots or any other type of TRT would make it worse. It's way more likely it would make it better. TRT is like my crutch. I could always tell when my pellets were running out(when I was on testosterone pellets) because I'd get that "hollow shell of a person" type feeling and...
That's so odd. That makes me think it's not only hereditary(all my family has anxiety) but it must also have to do with aging. I had no idea what anxiety was until it hit me at 30. Makes me think that it is hormone and body chemistry related. As you age, your hormones start becoming not optimal...
I too had panic. Once I got my levels up panic faded. I'll get stressed every now and then and feel panicky, but long gone are the days of daily depression and panic. I used to take Xanax a lot for panic, anti depressants, etc. Testosterone is what saved me from the anxious depressed feelings...
I'd be curious to know what side effects happen when you take PT-141. For instance, is it a vasodiolator? Does it raise or lower BP? Any other short term side effects?
I'd be interested in hearing the dose for your wife too. My doc mentioned PT-141 to me and I wasn't interested.....but if the wife can take it too, that's a whole 'nother story
I started taking CJC w/Ipamorelin about 3 weeks ago. The only thing I've noticed is water retention. I'm on testosterone therapy already and was hoping to see some fat burning from the CJC but nothing as of yet. I'm not fat but I wanted to get a little more cut. Hopefully it works.
Do you take...
I always had a feeling the psychological stress combined with working out had my cortisol levels through the roof. I can definitely feel the high cortisol after working out and after a long stressful day at work.
What does your estrogen look like? For me, just a little bit of exemestane(1/4 pill twice a week) brought libido higher for me. I tried a half pill twice a week and that brought me E2 too low and I shot past the sweet spot.
When do you take your BP?
If I take my blood pressure in the middle of the day when I'm active or busy at work or stressed, it's always 140'ish over 85'ish. When i take it in the morning or an night before bed, it's 115'sih over 75'ish.
I think if it's consistently high(even when you sleep or...
My Hct was 45-46 the last few times I had it tested. When I first started injections my Hct would get up to 51-52 and I would give blood every 4-5 months. I bought a Hct and Hemoglobin tester for home use so I'd monitor it every few months. After a year or so on injections, the Hct leveled out...
Nothing looks bad that I've seen on your blood work. It looks really good actually. I'd take the advice of others about daily injections with an insulin syringe. I use 29 gauge and preload 10 of them at a time. It takes me 15 minutes to fill them every 10 days and about a minute each morning to...
I'm on daily injection intramuscular. I started out with sub q but didn't like shooting in my belly fat everyday. Now I inject in my legs and shoulders(rotating around). I'm currently on 25mg a day(175mg a week). I feel pretty good. I've gone between 20mg & 30mg a day and I think 25mg feels...
For me, testosterone seemed to be a really good anti-depressant. I suffered with anxiety and depression (probably due to stress) before I went on TRT. I tried antidepressants and Xanax, etc. I still always felt like a shell of a person. I'd lay on the couch tired and depressed a lot of the time...
Speaking of CVD, there is a test you can get that insurance doesn't pay for. It's called a Calcium test or CAC score test. It's a CT scan that takes 5 minutes and costs about $200. It will tell you about any blockages in your main arteries. If you get a score of 0(zero), it's basically a 15 year...
I was given anastrozole first and it made me feel like death. Terrible!! I would be irritable and zero libido....I mean zero.
So then my doc said to try exemestane since it's generic Aromasin and it's cheap($15 for 30 weeks worth). I used it and never really felt anything negative at all.
I actually loved the pellets. Best I've ever felt. I didn't worry about E2 or anything really. Every 3 months I'd get them and I'd be set feeling amazing everyday.
The problem was I had issues a few times with them falling out. I don't have enough fat on my backside and I do crossfit so every...
I've read a lot of research suggesting insulin resistance(Diabetes) could be a major cause of CVD. Sugar, bread, pasta, and other non-real food seems to be a major cause.
…….not butter and bacon as previously thought.
I was on pellets a few years back and they definitely give you that slow drip of T making you have a more stable and steady state. They raised my HCT to around 48-49. When I first started injections my HCT went up to 51 but for some reason it dropped after about a year. Now my HCT is is 45-47...
I've been on testosterone and HCG injections for a few years now. I've used AI's and not used AI's. For me, I felt OK either way but I think adding a little AI (1/4 of a 25mg exemestane 2x week) to my protocol makes me feel the overall best. And by feeling my best I mean my sense of well being...
Yes, E2 can affect joints and cause joint pain. I assume you're taking an AI?
For me personally, my joints and back hurt when my E2 is in the 20's. I used to get testosterone pellets inserted every 4 months or so. I'd always know when I needed more pellets when my joints would start hurting...
Weak ejaculate was one of the first things I noticed when I got on trt 6 years ago. Everything else became better except for that. I’m not sure how to fix it to be honest. It’s kind of weird too because most of your ejaculate comes from your prostate I believe....it doesn’t make much sense.
alcohol is my weakness for sure!!! I try to drink low carb beer as much as possible which does help with the weight gain and bloated feeling. I still eat low'ish carb type diet but the beer is my achilles heal.
