I am by no means, "The man" but thanks for your vote of confidence.
water retention: I get a little water retention but nothing very noticeable to be honest.
Cardio always seems to be better when on pellets or injections. I think it's the increase in red blood cells the higher my T gets...
I will say that you can always go back to injections if pellets don't work. You literally can just start injecting again after the first round of pellets if they don't seem to help.
Good luck, I hope it works for you like it did for me. I think there are some of us where the injections (for whatever reason) aren't good for the libido. Hope you'll post your results here
Things are good good. I'm about a month away from my third round. Still feeling good. Great energy, good mood, overall sense of well being is awesome, my marriage is rocking since the libido has been back. All is good!!!
Going very well so far. I'm on week 6 and feeling great. I don't come on here much because everything is working so good. No need to come here looking for solutions anymore.
Sounds like an electrical issue in your heart. It doesn't sound like it's the testosterone at all. Could be stress, dehydration or lack of electrolytes. I used to get PVCs all the time and had an ablation done to fix it. The electrical system in your heart can play havoc on your heart beat and...
I personally think it has a lot to do with the gradual increase and the gradual decrease over a 3 month period.
I do know the "honeymoon" phase you're referring to. I've had that in the past but this isn't it. This is more of just a general sense of well being with good energy and great...
I too had to take Cialis with injections. I also felt like a "robot" in bed as you put it.
I'm not sure about patches. I've never tried a patch. I'm doing pellets where they insert them under the skin on your butt.
For the record, I'm a fan of injections if they work for you. I wish they worked for me but unfortunately they didn't. Thankfully i found something that does work for me. I wanted to start this thread in case there were others that injections didn't work for. There are other ways that might...
I tried everything from two pills a week(2mg) of anastrozole down to 1/4 pill (.25mg) a week.
I tried 1 pill a week of exemestane(25mg) all the way down to 1/4 of a pill(6.25mg) a week.
I did mutliple trial runs for 8-12 weeks for each dosage with not much luck.
I used anastrozole at first on injections and my junk literally wouldn't work for three days. Then my doc moved me over to exemestane which worked better overall but still didn't really help with libido no matter what dose I took.
Like I said, everything else on injections was great. Good...
Never tried the cream. I was already doing daily injections and didn't want another thing to have to remember to do every day. I just went back to the thing I knew worked best which was pellets. One poke every three months or so. It's sore for a week and then back in business. Pretty easy for me.
yes, I tried daily for around 6 months. Still no(or not much) libido with that protocol. I also tried every other day, twice a week, and once a week. Everything else was great on all protocols except for libido.
Honestly, I spent a few years trying to figure it out myself. At first I thought it was estrogen being too high or two low. I tried protocols that kept estrogen between 15-30 and that definitely didn't help libido. Then I tried protocols that didn't treat estrogen at all and that was better but...
Today marks 2 weeks since I had my pellets inserted. Overall feeling good. Feelings of well being are good, libido good, energy high. I noticed that the slight depression and anxiety feelings I was getting at the end of the last round have faded away already.
I'm 42 years old now. But starting...
Got the 2nd round of pellets last Monday 4/12. My butt hurt for about 7 days but feels better now. I do like how I don't have to do anything for 3 months until I go back. It's a convenient TRT protocol I think.
Getting them today. They had to postpone it a week. Definitely feel like I'm ready for another dose of pellets. Energy is fading and I can feel the depression and anxiety slowly creeping back in. These will be just in time.
I had the same issues with low libido while on injections for 2.5 years.I switched back to getting testosterone pellets and the issue was resolved within two weeks of the pellets being inserted. My wife is very happy again.....and so am I!!
Week 9
Starting to feel some ridiculous libido....borderline bothersome, lol. I do remember when I used to get pellets a few years ago that I would have this extremely high libido in the final few weeks leading up to my next round of pellets. Energy and sense of well being still good.
I'm in Florida so masks are not monitored all that much like other places. Not many people here wear them here to be honest(maybe 50%). But, I did think about the hematocrit issue it might cause in people working out with them on. It's basically like high altitude training which is done to raise...
Week 8
Feels like I'm starting on the downward decent now. Still feel good but maybe a touch of energy loss. I get new pellets in 4 weeks which should work out perfectly timing wise.
BioTe is the brand. He gave me 7 this time but after the bloodwork he wanted to bump it up to 9 so the good feelings last longer. His idea, not mine.....even though I wanted more he brought up adding a few before I said it.
week 7
Still rockin'...... wife is happy!! Feeling overall very good. Sleep is good, energy is good, mood is good, libido is on fire. Can't say that I have any particular issue at all at the moment. I'll get my next set of pellets at 12 weeks.
I'm tryin' to get swole!!! lol, just kidding
So, for the 2-3 months to adjust idea.......
Would that logically make sense? I mean, the pellets take your levels gradually up and gradually back down again. The levels aren't constant. So in essence, my FT levels are always in fluctuation (albeit...
I'm officially off of the "wait 6-8 weeks" train of thought.
For me, 2-3 weeks is enough to know if something is working. Even though I want to up my dose to 9 pellets instead of 7, I still felt wayyyyy better after two weeks of pellets vs. being on injections.....especially in the libido...
