These threads get nauseating to read and the extremism is baffling. I am a person that has a very low tolerance to E2 and when mine reached the 50’s I bloated, very sore breasts, lost libido, and was an emotional train wreck. I tried to “wait it out” and after 4 weeks of progressively gettin’...
Your later interpretation is Correct. When I was on daily injections my E2 would spike after the injection and I had to dose an AI to control E2 symptoms to feel good overall. Now I feel basically the same on daily without having to take the AI.
I felt just as good on once weekly as I do now on daily shots. The only reason I changed to E3.5D and then to daily was I needed an AI eliminate high E2 sides.....If I could have controlled E2 on weekly dosages, without an AI, I would still be doing weekly injections.
My experience as well. Very intuitive and have made several effective adjustments with my protocol over past couple of years. I have transitioned through no AI, to taking a small dose, back to none all with Defy. Adjusting dosing was their direction as they learned I really was concerned...
Looking for some thoughts on my latest labs. I switched to ED dosing 12mg T Cyp in September from 50mg E3.5D. My labs in November were 900 T with 32 Free T. This was up from 28 Free T in August. Got my latest T numbers back today and my total T was 862 and Free T was 38. My E2 and SHBG...
In my earlier post today I shared my experience with my inability to control my polycythemia. I tried everything from lowering injection amounts, going to daily injections, over hydration, etc. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea 90 days ago and have been on CPAP since. All my CBC lab...
I have been on TRT now starting year 3. Overall the treatment has been a success, with one caveat many of us suffer with.....polycythemia. I have been on the rollercoaster of phlebotomies every 2-3 months since my start. I have tried dosage reductions to the point I started daily injections...
Almost 3 months ago I switched from 50mg E3.5D/100mg week total to 12mg a day for 84mg a week total. My trough T levels on my last labs on the 2x 50mg a week were trough of 852 Total T, free of 28.3, E2 of 30, and SHBG of 34....this also included .125 Anastrozole with my T injections. My last...
Understanding we all respond differently....I initially tried a regimen of DIM/CDG/zinc that did absolutely nothing in managing E2 symptoms or levels. Started Anastrozole and learned quickly I was an over responder and settled in at .125 E3.5D with my T shot. Wanted to rid myself of taking th...
After switching to daily injections about 8 weeks ago, time for some labs....I was on a protocol of E3.5D 50mg each/.125 Anastrozole on shot days, 300iu HCG on T shot days. New protocol 12mg daily T, no AI, 300iu HCG E3.5D. I wanted to try a daily protocol to hopefully drop the AI and spread...
I went to daily about 5 weeks ago. Will get bloods done next week. 12mg ed. I am trying the change for two reasons, I want to drop AI and also evaluate if I am able to lower HCT and phlebotomy frequency. When on e3.5d I felt pretty good, but had to use .125 AI 2x week to keep E2 sides at...
Before I went to injections, I was in pellet therapy with no HCG for about a year. Two main symptoms was atrophy of my testicles and lack of ejacultion volume. Both were corrected with adding HCG. Other than that I also get no other feel that it does anything else for me except raise E2...
I hear more bad than good on this topic.....My GP/hematologist started me on injections 18 months ago. He has been great. What he doesn’t knower understand, he has been open to listening and change, such as injection frequency, range of tests needed, etc. even though I now use Defy for HCG...
I use 27g 1/2 inch “easy touch” currently in shoulders. Appreciate the link on other potential injection sites, as I will need to change sites up a little.
After my consult with Defy, we decided going the daily injection route is best for me at this point. I want to try and drop the AI and reduce my phlebotomy frequency. The major question for me is, I have read that daily injections typically require less total testosterone injected weekly. I...
As some have stated, my libido was strong prior to trt and has remained that way after. My larger issue is I am very sensitive to E2 levels....too high and then some minor ED....too low and then some minor ED....finding the sweet spot “Priceless”!
I have been on Losartan for a couple of years. It has attributed to No sides or weight gain for me. Also would add that it does not appear to have any HCT lowering effect with me either. Works well in controlling my high BP though.
My initial trt experience was similar with the “honeymoon phase” for about 30 days, then painful atrophy, ed, and other sides set in. My E2 rising to high levels was the most of my ED issues. Atrophy and Semen volume was corrected with HCG. My ED symptoms were due to my high E2 levels...
I am about a year into my swap over to injections. I Hope I see the same result. When you were doing them, Did you have a high mark where you would do a Phlebotomy? Trying to figure out the balance between max Levels without tanking Ferritin, or causing subsequent issues.
Thanks
Guy’s, I am looking for a little insight from those that have Rising HCT and HGB due to trt. Subsequently, as many, I am taking my Ferritin too low with frequent Phlebotomy. I have seen mine somewhat start to stabilize over the past year, but still over range 30 - 60 days after phlebotomy. I...
There are many of us that are on here and doin’ well on TRT. I struggled initially with a doctor that was clueless. Got on this site, learned a ton, started working with Defy...all is very well. I may not post a lot, but definitely check in for information and search for applicable knowledge...
DHEA raised my E2 and added symptoms and verified through having my bloodwork every 6 weeks like clockwork. When I switched to defy, they Tested DHEA as a part of my initial panel and it was low. I did not want to introduce more than one change at a time so I added HCG first and waited six...
You are not alone in this regard. I have had a similar experience with my SHBG. When I started pellet trt roughly 2 years ago mine was 58. Switched to injections a year ago it was 47. 6 months ago 42 and a couple of weeks ago 32. I am e3.5d injections 50mg. and do take a micro dose of...
Pellets
Very similar to my pellet experience....price was outrageous, could not dial in protocol, aquired an infection twice at the insertion site, pellets worked way out, and I also have sensitive scar tissue.....I used them for 15 months, 3 insertions five months apart. Not a quality or...
HCG Dosage
With my T Cyp 50mg injections E3.5D, I also pinned 500iu HCG E3.5D for about 6mos. Other than full testicles, I really felt no additional benefit of the higher dose and also ended up having to add a low dose AI due to my E rising. I had symptoms of sore nipples, water bloat, night...
