My 2-cents is that on many different TRT forums, this one included, the "results" the two of you had are typical. Clinics "sell" the idea of how these will help one loose fat, get stronger, etc and make a ton of money from guys doing a 6-month cycle of them, but I can't recall anyone ever saying...
Wow! That is beyond impressive. Thank you very much for sharing. May I ask how long you were on the TB-500, and would you mind sharing your TB-500 source?
I have some shoulder issues and I had an MRI yesterday, no results yet. I hope to avoid surgery and have that as a last resort option only.
Has anyone had positive results using either BPC-157 or TB-500 (or both, as you can buy them in combination) for healing an injury?
In researching these compounds one finds a lot of almost too good to be true anecdotes of healing various injuries, but upon a bit more digging I found a few...
Ah, that explains it then. as I recall, that was the dose they were willing to prescribe (as I mentioned this was over 18 months ago so I am going off memory)
It sounded good at the time, but with your info and 20/20 hindsight, that was a lot of money for a dose too low to be effective.
My SHBG was 16 before and 7 after. The Dose was 20 mg/day and it cost like $600 for what I think was a 3 month supply. (This was around 18 months ago)
I had optimistic thoughts about trying it since TRT has not helped me build any muscle at all. Not that I was expecting anything crazy - But...
I have had prescription Oxandrolone from Defy and it dropped my already low SHBG to single digits and had zero effect on muscle building on me. It was also super expensive. Just my experience - your experience may vary.
I doubt you will feel any different on the lower dose. If you are not already doing so, I would recommend splitting the 160 dose into a twice weekly injection schedule. So like Monday AM Thursday PM. Same with the HCG.
I am with Defy as well and my consult is tomorrow. (Thursday) I will update with the details when I have them.
I know what you mean though, a lot of TRT docs still think low SHBG is beneficial instead of hugely problematic.
I have a consult coming up this week or early next and I will update on my new protocol and then after 6 week on it. I don't have many options left, so I have my fingers crossed.
Your SHBG is a lot higher than mine which seems to range between 8-15, so you should have a better chance of success. In general (There is always the odd unicorn out there) the lower the SHBG, the harder time one has with TRT. With your SHBG at 23 and with you just getting started, I would...
I have tried it all, except for pellets. Bi-weekly injections, daily injections, creams alone, creams and injections, T-cyp, T-prop, etc. For me, its not hard to get good numbers "on paper" and unlike a lot of low SHBG guys, I don't have a hard time controlling high E2 levels. In terms of what...
Do you have any insight on the upcoming vaccinations as a medical professional that are not making the news? I ask because depending upon the news source, either we are going to have a very effective vaccination (or several from different pharma companies) fairly soon, or new vaccinations take...
You will know if you are a non-responder if you get your protocol settled so the numbers all look good "on paper" but you feel no different than you did when you had "Low T."
I speak from the experience of somebody with super low SHBG.
100% agree with what JimGainzs just said. You need a new doc unless he is OK with you switching to injecting every 3.5 days instead of every 10 days. Nobody would feel good on that protocol.
Welbutrin helping with libido seems totally hit and miss according to everything I have read, so consider yourself lucky that it worked so well for you. A lot of us on TRT still have low libido no matter how many times we adjust the protocol over the months and years.
When you say you used 3x your dose, was that just T, or 3x the dose of oxandrolone or nandrolone as well?
I ask because I read about guys hereon the forum prescribed nandrolone, oxandrolone of stanolozol along with T and for some of them it was the first time they were able to gain any muscle...
I agree 100%.
That said, I wish TRT gave me some libido, some energy and some ability to if not gain any muscle, at least recover from exercise better. We are different and genetics play a huge role as you stated so I have to deal with the hand I was dealt. If I was younger and not shut down so...
In my case my last labs showed Total T at 978, Free T at 25 and E2 at 40. I have been with Defy for years, tried everything, and never felt anything from Test - it literally feels like I am injecting water. My SHBG ranges between 12 and 16, which is a problem but it cannot be changed. I am not...
Is GnRH available? I would love to try this as well as Test is literally useless for me. I feel the same when I go off it for a few weeks as I do when I am on 200mg/week.
I have never injected more than a TRT dose of 200 mg/week, but injecting Test feels like I am injecting water as well. I have never felt anything from it. Its probably due to the amount of cell receptors you and i have - see this article that was originally posted by another member on this...
With as much as you have going on, its no wonder your BP is a bit high. Have you tried hawthorn extract? Hawthorn Berry for Blood Pressure: Benefits & Dosage
It may not work for everyone, but it is cheap and all natural.
Achy joints are often from E2 being too low. I haven't read about anyone getting that same feeling from Metformin, but that's not to say it can't happen. We all react differently.
Just curious where your E2 levels are?
Also, Humatrope can cause achy joints - often in the hands - but I have...
That is good news, thank you! I will definitely ask Defy about Stanozolol and Deca ASAP. I have tried Oxandrolone from Defy and it was like taking water, in fact worse than that - all it did was lower my already way too low SHBG level down to low single digits.
Excellent, thank you for the links. No easy answers, so it would seem. That's the thing with my wife, she would be willing to try if there was at least some data besides anecdotal in favor, otherwise its not worth the ton of money spent on blood work, doctor consults, meds, wait six months -...
