I recently applied for life insurance as my prior policy expired. I had the typical medical exam and the company ran a Milliman report which lists all medications that have been prescribed in recent years. I was notified by the agent that the company wants to rate me up do to Parkinsons medication. I explained that I do not have Parkinsons, provided ample documentation of its anti-aging benefits and offered to have my doctor write a letter stating that I do not have Parkinsons. Long story short, they won't budge.
I have prescription for 5mg. Perhaps I was better off buying it anonymously from my former supplier?
So now I am looking at other companies. This is just a heads up for anyone with a prescription.
