Just I thought I remembered APS saying you should always use a fresh bottle with every mix and to never re-use and old jug

Could it have something to do with the fact that if your mixing up 10 or 11k IUs of HCG and your not drawing up all the water in one big syringe you might be contaminating the water jug with some HCG going back and forth ?

Like others have said here, it's a multiple dose vial...it was designed to be used more than once. That being said, there is an expiration date on the vial for a reason. I would respect that date, and not use it now if the expiration date is 2015.

A 30mL vial of Bac water is pretty cheap. Is it worth $5-7 to ensure you're not using a vial with an expired date? I vote yes.

@Vince do you think it is ok to reuse a bacteriostatic water btl even when the first time air was injected in the vial to draw the water out?
Yes.

Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) of benzyl alcohol added as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is supplied in a multiple-dose container from which repeated withdrawals may be made to dilute or dissolve drugs for injection. The pH is 5.7 (4.5 to 7.0).
