In NY and Going to PA to use Discounted Labs

Im from upstate Ny (a state that DiscountedLabs.com does not serve), I’m going to order a full male hormone panel from discount labs and travel to Pa to get the tests done .

Can someone walk me thru exactly what to expect , what I have to say , lie ... ??? Etc ??? I don’t want to drive 2 hours to be told no and be out $$$$ . I know I’m asking a boring question but could def use the rite info so I can get labs done , please and thank you .

HOW DOES DISCOUNTEDLABS.COM WORK?

1- Go to the "Find a Location" page to find the closest LabCorp location. No need to make an appointment since walk-ins are welcomed. Once you have identified your closest location, go to step 2.

NOTE: We serve all states in the U.S. except New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and Hawaii.

2- Go to "Choose a Test" and add your selection (s) in the shopping cart.

3- If you have a discount coupon code, add it to your cart.

4- A $6 blood draw fee will be added to your total.

5- Pay using a credit card or Paypal.

6- You will receive order confirmation and instructions on how to download your lab request form from your profile on our site by logging into your account and clicking on My Labs.

7- Print lab request form that you downloaded.

8- Take that form to the closest LabCorp location with a picture ID. Get your blood drawn.

9- You will receive an email when the results are ready for you to download from our site following same procedure as item 6.

Note: You cannot place an order under someone else's profile. The profile person's name will appear on the lab order form. Please create your profile. You are allowed to use someone else's credit card as payment.

I drove to Erie, PA a number of times from Toronto and have also used Discountedlabs.com in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago.

Walk in - hand them the lab order - confirm your identity - have the blood drawn.

So your saying you took your bloodwork to a labcorp in New York ? I thought this was illegal and they couldn’t / wouldn’t do it ? I was told they would put Pa zip code on requisition then I go to PA lab core ....

That’s what I’m trying to ask the guy above from Manhattan .. I didn’t see him say he went to a different state . My plan is what u stayed above Nelson . Order from discounted labs in 4 weeks and drive to Pa . Thanks again

We now use Quest. So we can now serve MA, NH, and ME as well as all other states except NY, NJ and RI. Another change is that Quest does not allow residents of NY, NJ, and RI to access services in neighboring states. This last change is the most unfortunate one.

Is there any chance of these restrictions on labs in NY changing anytime in the near future? These laws make no sense and are a big inconvenience

I doubt it. NY state sued two companies and no one wants to go through this ever.
