sorry if I missed it are you still on hc ?New labs:
TSH 2.22 (.27 – 4.20)
FT4 1.4 (.9 – 1.7)
FT3 4.1 (2.0 – 4.4)
PSA .81 (0 – 4.0)
Total T 830 (249 – 836)
Free T 242 (47-244)
SHBG 18 (10-80)
DHEAS 899 (44-331)
Sensitive E2 23.8 (10.0 – 42.0)
DHT 968.5 (106 – 719)
The only changes to protocol that gave me results posted upthread is I have added 25mg DHEA in AM and 12.5mg of T cream in AM.
As you will see DHEA and DHT have risen accordingly. I only did the T cream for 4 days prior to the test. The DHEA helped my mood almost immediately. The T cream, I think helped mood as well.
But, libido and ED are no better and maybe worse. Need to urinate at night seems slightly higher. I just think there is too much stimulation in my body and my genitals. Doesn't feel relaxed down there. Curious, Dr Saya mentioned a protocol overhaul if adding the cream didn't help. Maybe 4 days wasn't enough of a trial, but just seemed like going the other direction. PSA jumped slightly from previous draw. So frustrating, 23 years of this. Viagra hasn't helped - libido of a 95 year old for 23 years. This isn't living.
Pt-141 only seems to provide help nocturnal erections, but not in way of daytime.
Starting to wonder about things that may seem unrelated like my wisdom teeth that weren't pulled and sometimes ache. I recall Dr. Mariano once saying he had a patient that had a tooth infection and once it was pulled his anxiety disappeared. Could chronic bodily stress be sapping too much energy over the years?
Also, wonder if the real cure for me is yoga.
sorry if I missed it are you still on hc ?
So you feel well over all just libido is the issue. I know trt lowers my cortisol also but low dose ssri seems to help with that for me. Hc did not improve any symptoms for me. Crazy how different we all are
I know it's a long shot, but have you considered trying a different ester? I know it makes no sense scientifically and there's little to no evidence to back up my own personal experience, but I had a HUGE improvement moving from cypionate to enanthate. If you're desperate and ready to try anything, I can't imagine it hurting anything.
Just to be clear, my issues were nothing like yours: no ed or libido problems whatsoever. Long story short, I was running 3 miles without a problem prior to starting TRT, and that rapidly went downhill on cypionate but I felt fantastic otherwise. Never could get back to doing more than a mile and a half without stopping to stretch my calves. After about 10 months on cypionate, I switched to enanthate and my cardio abilities just magically returned- no other changes. It makes no sense, but it made a difference for me.Thanks. I have a consult w/ Dr. Saya next Thursday and will see what we can come up with to try. Will bring this up.
I hope it works for you!Took my first 1mg Doxazosin this AM. Early, but I swear I feel more relaxed today. Will see if this holds up and if it changes anything downstairs.
