What happen if we take a break from gym?

I had to take many one week breaks from the gym. I usually have to start back slowly, I believe it's more mental than physical. I have to get my head in the right place again.
 
I just went 7 weeks off because of a wrist injury. Some loss of strength on all big compounds but not on all accessories. I'm on my 2nd week back in the gym. I suspect by the end of next week i'll be 95-99% where I was pre injury.

I'm sure that being in ketosis 100% of the time and getting 150-200g protein per day helps a lot with muscle sparring.
