TRT shuts down urination almost completely within 48 hours?

I have started to notice a big decline in urination over the months while being off of TRT and it seems TRT worsens my urination issues within 24 hours of a T injection. My PSA is rock steady at 1.4 and has remained consistently between 1.2-1.4 the entire time on TRT.

How it goes is I inject 7mg enanthate and within 24 hours my urinate flow is significantly reduced and urine is cloudy, then within 48 hours I'm only able to get a little trickle in the morning and evening. If I eat or drink I feel very bad after 40 minutes (abdominal bloat) and my veins look fuller in my feet and urination is nonexistent. I lose the ability to sense an urge to urinate.

If I stop TRT urge urinate partially returns but I'm still having urine flow issues. It's as if after eating and drinking the waste products from the food go through my kidneys and the waste returns back into blood circulation without ever going into the bladder.

When I eat three meals a day I feel burning fluid draining through my legs, arms, stomach and chest turn red and burn and the skin is damaged. I'm going to see a urologist on Jan 10th and don't want to go in with a complete lack of knowledge, I want to understand what might be going on.

My extensive lab testing show my kidneys are very healthy and filtering like a champ. I'm eating one meal per day to keep the symptoms at bay and it's working. I do get burning sensations in legs, feet and on both sides of waist right after eating the one meal per day which lasts hours, skin turns red.

The diuretic or blood pressure medicine has no effect when I lose the ability to urinate on TRT. My blood pressure is controlled until I lose the ability to urinate, then after I'm unable to urinate blood pressure climbs.

Any insight is appreciated!

Thank you.

In my limited knowledge, it sounds like an autoimmune/digestion reaction. The only times my skin flushed in my life was an allergic reaction where literally my entire body was red and itched, or a niacin flush reaction.

I believe there’s a blood connection from the stomach to liver also.

You could check your nutrition status or look into something like histamine intolerance.

Have you tried juicing vegetables as a meal with a similar reaction.

I've tried injectable and oral antihistamine and it does nothing, the skin become damaged externally. There is no itching, just acid burning sensation inside my body as well as outside. Now I know when we eat acid is injected into the stomach for digestion.....

My liver function is great, my digestion is faster than normal, always has been. What always proceeds these events is a lack of urination, eating actually and injecting testosterone slow down urination.

I had some grapes moments ago and I can feel it again below the stomach, down lower. I can feel something going on down there, it feels strange.

I assume you have been to a urologist? If they can’t find anything then maybe it could be worth investigating pelvic floor tension?

Urination is slowly returning after stopping TRT, the swelling down below is subsiding. My PSA during all of this is lowest I've ever seen it, .8.

The pelvic floor tension seems like the next step.

Last year in December , I felt I couldn't pee , the situation has been worsening for a few months spent a little more time in the toilet .....but on this day in December I couldn't pee at all. In the hospital in Perugia they inserted a catheter and drained 8 liters of pee. Had to get a turp prostate surgery and well not the best time of my life. Go to a urologist or the emergency room. When I got to the emergency room my kidneys didn't function and I was told that in one day I would have been dialysis for life.

“To pee... or not to Pee, that is the question...”

I am on the other side of the spectrum with frequency, rather then retention. For me I have very low levels of Estradiol...PSA has always been 0.4. Biofeedback Pelvic floor disorder specialist helped me, but damn are they difficult to find, and also getting insurance to cover it.

The only measures you can take is seeing a Urologist, and i’m sure this individual will run tests like blood work, urine analysis & 24hr, ultrasound of bladder and kidney, possible MRI of lower abdomen, prostate examination, urodynamics, and cystoscopy....that’s it. If all turns out fine what are you left with..? My honest opinion, as long as you are not peeing blood, have a UTI, or peeing bubbles from the tip of your penis, you are fine, but it does not hurt to be tested just in case.

The burning sensation you are describing may not have any correlation to the urine retention.

do you have any labs to show out of curiosity?

have a diary of your intake and void, you will need that for your visit. Also you mention “cloudy”, how cloudy? Very white? This is a huge indicator of possible infection...

Have you considered trying a different oil base, i.e. switching from cottonseed to grapeseed oil? Just wondering if you're experiencing an allergic reaction to it.

The burning sensation is in response to eating, then losing the ability to urinate causes redness and burning. It actually feels like I'm urinating inside my legs, everytime I drink during dinner, the sensation follows in legs seconds after. During this time my bladder is full and swelling.

There is no sensation to urinate at all during all of this, the sensation comes and goes throughout the day. The swelling triggers a lack of urge to urinate. This morning I woke up and had no urge to urinate.

I've tried all carrier oils, same effect on all of them. I've had testing on sesame seed and cotton seed oils and am not allergic to any of them.
