My BP bounced back a little and was 130/85/88 today around 4:20 Nothing too bad but still elevated around 10-15pts from baseline pre TRT. Minimal headache throughout the day from this elevation or that I slept really badly at night probably woke up like 5 times to take a piss smh Also I'm getting hot flashes and overall feeling hot all day long today. Did an easy workout and did 30min steady state cardio with 1min HIIT mixed in. Body very sensitive to any physical movement and emotions as well and pulse jumps up quick fwiw. Anyway all good, as it's just a start. Next shot is Sunday morning so will measure BP upon waking up and will post here. My energy is up, strenght up as well and back pain a little better already. Muscles look a lot fuller and lost some weight these last days even though tried to eat as much as I could. I've got soft around belly a bit not too much so will try to peel it off in the coming months eating clean and training lightly and doing my cardio. Will order some supps next month to support blood flow, healthy BP and cholesterol, but will play smart with them cuz I will never know what worked and what not if I slam 10 different ones at once. My next shot Sunday morning should be 62.5mg so probably will try doing it without lowering the dose and just have BP medication at hand incase it spikes again. And if again it happens then I will probably go lower to 50mg 2x per week like @FunkOdyssey suggested in prior posts. I'm a very sensitive person when it comes to drugs, rec drugs, alcohol and all the substances so I have a feeling I might need to go even lower then 100mg/week but TWT. No changes to anything yet and will try to ride it out, but given the fact that I have business to take care starting midnight each day and for a couple of hours and if BP will stay elevated around that time for longer period I will have to make adjustments for sure so will see.
Maybe 50 mg or 40 mg next time.

Hang in there and glad you are feeling some improvement. Take care of yourself.

Thank you Brother! Really trying my best to relax and tick all the boxes needed going forward. Yes! 40mg 2x/week and see from there. Sounds like a good plan. I'm really hot today all day long, you think these flashes from hormone flux or sth?

What was your pulse rate prior to starting Test? Pulse rate above is third number? ...88?

It is almost like reading my own experience when reading your log. PCP started me at 120 mg once weekly test cyp. Hot sweaty mess and swolen ankles. Was about 12% bodyfat when I started TRT. My cardio was through the roof. 360-380 W FTP on the bike and sub 7 min mile which was not bad for old guy.

It isn't just obese out of shape dudes who have issues starting TRT is the weekly dose too high.

Yes, 88 was on current measure today. I've just checked my notes and pre TRT it was 58-68 somewhere in that ballpark ruffly upon wakening. 12% bf so you was very lean when you started, I was probably around say 15% maybe 18% hard to say as I didn't measure. I was very lean two months ago when I decided to eat up and gain weight for a second blood test so put on 3-4kg and got a bit soft around waist but abs visible, obliques as well etc.

Added a little more context above. Took me a few months to stop the sweats and drop the dose.

But then I added stuff and upped it ;-)

Facepalm. Slippery slope.

30 bpm RHR elevation with TRT is a huge jump. That and BP tell you 125 mg/wk from the start is no go. Major autonomic response. Drop the dose and get that under control then walk up slowly later if you want to go higher. Sucks we get so sensitive when we are older.

Def not bad! Oh def not only obese guys get in trouble thats a bold statement to make for sure! I was so lean that were was a kid pt in my gym getting ready for comp maybe 4 weeks out and I looked a lot leaner then him year-round lol

I hear you buddy so you thinking 40mg or 50mg? Absolutely it sucks as I cant imagine how I was running 500mg of deca+test without any sides back in the day smh

If it was me.....40.
Then 40mg it is. I have 1ml syringes, how many measurement units does 40mg correspond to? I'm running Sustanon250 fwiw. Thought I'll ask as you are very good with numbers ;) Also I forgot to mention that I also quit smoking pretty much same time as been smoking the last 3 months or so. Sorry, really forgot about this one. And today read some studies that smoking reduces BP and folks that quit usually see a rise in BP as well fwiw

What is this mysterious activity that you do for work each day for a couple hours starting at midnight?

So Sunday morning going from 62.5mg down to 40mg 2x/week. It resolves to 0.16ml 2x/week if I calculated correct. Lets see how things go. Will update everything here and hope some of the new guys will choose the safer path and not pin 200mg right out the gate straight from the couch lol

Woke up today and measured BP at 128/79/66 after a solid night sleep with 1 run to the toilet. Had my decaf with sugar and some cream and went out for a run in the park. Did 30mins with a bit of walking in between. Felt great but my lower back is killing me. Was back home some months ago, done 10 serious massage sessions each 45mins, but he wasn't able to find the issue, even though hes one of the best if not the best specialist in my city. Got pain in my neck, left shoulder sometimes into the pec and my lower back, ofc. Seen another serious physio guy, he checked me said my right side is damaged and showed many diff exercises. Came back to UK started doing them and in few months pretty much zero improvement so dropped it. So next thing ill do MRI when I'm back home again or will try to get one done here in UK but hardly they will agree cuz here NHS docs seem brainless and treats everything with paracetamol lol My bones and joints still crack like an old mans smh Will order turmeric and run bigger doses for longer time see if that helps any. It's a bitch but IIWII. Paying for all the mistakes and traumas in the past. Slow process but will get there hopefully for now gotta be very smart and careful with my training and shit. Living with pain sucks but thats life i guess. Ive tried a lot and nothing helped much to be honest. But staying positive and looking forward because life learned me to focus on what I can control instead of looking backwards and never ever give up!

Still hot af and social anxiety up. Fuck that feeling sucks, big time. I remember I also had that same social anxiety on 250mg test-e when I was on 3 years ago. Damn I'm sensitive, only now I see the bigger picture. Hope 40mg tomorrow won't be as bad as the last shot of 62.5mg Fingers Crossed. Are there any guys around here that had to stop TRT even at small doses because of the anxiety? And I'm thinking this anxiety is causing them BP spikes fwiw.

Check yourself for infections. They can and DO cause elevated pulse, higher or lower BP, headaches, back pain, neck pain etc. Some bacterial infections cause arthritis-like inflammations, if they disseminated through blood.

Don't try to explain everything with hormones and physical injuries.

Your doctor should know what tests to order to check your immune system status and inflammation: minimal should be CBC with differential, C-Reactive protein, Sedimentation Rate, Comprehensive metabolic panel.

Not the case. Everything checked and healthy as a bull except hormones(tfu, tfu, tfu). Been on top of my health for the last 17 years. Thanks for reply. Will run proper panels in a couple months again when I'm back home.

When you say you feel "hot", is that fever? Have you checked your temperature?
Yes, temp good. All these hot flashes and BP spikes came after I started my TRT close to two weeks ago, before was feeling ok except having below range FT. I wanted to be a pro athlete but life got in the way thus always been on top of my health fwiw. Also I've quit smoking same time I started TRT so that might have added some anxiety on top as well I believe.
