1. How long did it take you to regain normal testicle size once adding HCG to your protocol?
2. What was your dosage and injection schedule?
3. Did it cause or resolve ED?

I have not been able to find any reliable studies on this so I am looking for anecdotal experiences. Ill make a full post on my situation another time because its very long and complex. But the basics are this: I am on 50mg of Testim Gel per day (applied to shoulders). I have now added 500mcg of HCG (Pregnyl) EOD as of a week ago. I have already noticed a major change in my mental state. I am much much more relaxed and happy. I have been going through ED as well and my hope is this will improve that too. Currently I dont want any recommendations to change my protocol, Ill explain another time, I am going to stay with it until I get my next round of bloodwork.

Love the forum btw. And thank you in advance.

I'm interested in this too. I just added HCG after discontinuing about a year ago.. my balls shrunk to half size.. I'm on 160mg test/ wk....started 300iu 3x wk (total of 900iu wk) about 2 weeks ago in hopes to get my balls back. HCG has already improved my sensitivity and erection size.

I’ve been in a similar situation but I’ve been on testogel for such a long time without HCG. (10 years) so maybe that’s why after 15 months of HCG my atrophy did not revert unfortunately

Gosh, hard to remember exactly, but I went from obviously shrunken to back to original state in I would say 8 months at least. (?) Definitely been on it for a year + now and they are like when I was younger/normal state.

How long were on TRT without the HCG? I just started(TRT) and look to add that(HCG) to my regimen at some point, but want to get dialed in with the T alone first. Also, my initial instinct was to cycle it a few times/year, but now I’m thinking that may just be a psychological thing and not wanting to be dependent on something indefinitely. I know some just ride it and some jump on then off, and I’d be interested to know the pros and cons of each approach.

About 2 years TRT without HCG. Been off and on a couple times. I am leaning toward getting off TRT again. I was not secondary hypogonadal in the first place. From a psychological perspective, at least in my case, I wouldn't do long term TRT without HCG because to discover one day your balls seem like they're eaded for pre-puberty status was frightening.

Thanks, that answers a good bit of questions. Looks like 250 EOD seems to be a good sweet spot according to the study(allows you to only fall about 6-7% below baseline). I certainly don’t want to stay below baseline for prolonged periods of time, and don’t really care to surge far above baseline as the T should take care of that(and I’ve already had a vasectomy so not concerned about having more kids). I guess the key remaining question is what constitutes “prolonged periods of time being far below baseline”. Obviously everyone is different so I’ll play it by ear, but my initial plan is to settle into my TRT and then run HCG for about 8 weeks or so. I’ll get bloodwork at the 6 month mark anyway, so waiting until after that point would be a good idea I’m assuming. Get labs to see where I am, run it for 2 months, then stop and see what my labs look like at the one year mark. Since, as your post indicates, it is unknown if resistance can develop I’d prefer to play it safe and take the lowest dose to maintain original baseline and only cycle it enough to give myself the best chance to maintain long term.
