At EASD 2023 in Hamburg, Professor Hugh Jones presents an analysis from the ABCD audit of Testosterone in Men with Type 2 Diabetes, confirming that testosterone replacement therapy does improve glycaemic control. Furthermore, the data showed that HbA1c continues to decrease over time. This was likely to be due to the ongoing effect of testosterone on fat reduction.
