Test cyp plus HCG - high estradiol

I am on the old Dr Crisler protocol:

I do .25cc of HCG on day 1 and 2, and 0.5cc (100mg) injection of Test cypionate on day 3.

It works well for me. The problem is on day 7 my T level is 580 which is OK for me, but my estradiol is 42.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Many thanks for this great forum.

Crisler's HCG protocol has worked well. No testicular atrophy. I'd like to bump my T up a bit but at 580 (100mg/week) on day 7 I guess I'm ok. I just don't want my blood too thick since my hematocrit is already high. I donate blood every 8 weeks.

As for doctors, one said that a T level of 150 was normal for my age. I immediately found a new doctor!

You have men that can tolerate high testosterone and men that can only tolerate mid range levels. The same goes for other hormones.

Some context, the normal ranges for estrogen were derived from men with a total testosterone under 500 and not on hormone replacement therapy.

Comments such as these are coming from doctors who are uneducated and or want nothing to do with TRT and are just trying to blow you off hoping you just go away and become some else’s problem.

I think you’re focusing too much on the lab values and not on how you feel. I can’t handle high testosterone on the top end of the normal ranges, I have nothing but problems as I’m operating outside my normal range.

I recently stopped TRT cold turkey as a result. I’m going to either try Natesto or try to correct things naturally now that I’m more educated in nutrition and I have the proper training in lifting weights.

How high were your T levels? I've found that guys who go too high are the ones with headaches etc. That's why I am staying conservative with 100mg a week plus HCG. My levels are good for me there, feel strong and well, good libido with twice a week sex, not bad at 70!
I tried going off it cold turkey. Got sickly and skinny, no sex drive. I looked like crap. No energy.

592 at midpoint. Jatenzo has a 6 hour half-life so levels drop fast. High hematocrit and high hemoglobin equals dehydration for me, which isn’t surprising since both are a measure of hydration.

Good luck. Try your cold turkey method. You are much more knowledgeable than I on these topics. When I tried it I noticed weight and muscle loss, and energy loss. Awful sleep.
You can always come back if if doesn't work.

It seems very unlikely to me that every man used to establish the range for E2 had Total T below 500ng/dL.

My last total T was 1056 ng/dl, E2 102 pg/ml. Doing fine. Use 100 mg TC/20 mg TP every 5 days and 500 IU HCG twice a week.

Wilson, 1056 is high. Wow. Was that number on day one or 5 on your T shot?

Also, how do you do your HCG in the schedule? I do day 1 and 2 HCG shots and day 3 my T shot.

my last is 50. 6 month before that 60. went down as my body fat % went down.
but again, this should not be touched. my latest protocol (ever changing), 25mg Tprop /day, 3x1000IU HCG/week.

How do you like the Tprop versus Cypionate and Enathate? Im currently doing Enathate EOD Tx

HCG has gotten very pricey due to the huge demand by trannies. Hopefully our T won't increase in price but likely it will. I've been using Pregnyl HCG. $185

Anyone with better ideas on HCG?
