PT-141 and Trimix?

It's been over 20 years since I have had a good erection. Even though this is what everyone says, I still have doubts until it happens.

You want to do the injection about an inch and a half from the base of the shaft. Think of a clock. When looking down, if the top of the shaft is 12 o’clock, your right side is 3 o’clock, and your left is 9 o’clock, you want to aim for between 2-3 o’clock or 9-10 o’clock. It is also best for most to use a 1/2” needle. If you do miss and nothing happens, do not try the other side. Wait until the next day

I used a 1/2" needle and injected at 2 o'clock.

I can't speak for the other 20% that it hasn't worked for. I can speak for who it has worked for though. When the wife comes up and says "here, take this shot and let's have some fun" - that's all I need to hear.

well I have been using trimix for about 5 years first couple years 10 units worked great the last 3 up to 70 units and it is worthless

I thought I would share a recent improvement I have experience with Trimix injections, I switch from a one piece syringe to one with a Luer lock, and I use a different needle for draw than I do for injection. IMO I have confirmed that you dull the needle penetrating the rubber seal. It is virtually painless if you do this.

My Defy physician recently added Trimix to my protocol along with PT141. Before using the Trimix, I searched around and found the concerns expressed in this thread. I reached back to Defy to make sure Trimix in combo with PT141 was ok, and they assured me that it was. Haven't had the nerve to try both together yet. PT141 by itself seemed to boost my libido, but did not help with ED. Trimix by itself helped the ED, but I miss the libido bump from PT141.

I didn't see where anybody on this thread actually ran the combo by a physician, just lots of understandable concerns about confining them. I'm interested in anybody's comments given that my TRT doctor (and a Defy doctor at that) is comfortable with using them together.

With no supporting evidence other than my own opinion...

I can't see how they would interact in any meaninful way, they both operate in 2 completely different ways. I can see an increase in the possibility of Priapism only in that the PT-141 boost of Libido may increase the chances of an erection lasting too long.

ie. PT-141 makes your brain more excited and Tri-Mix just makes your dick hard... But I'd probably err on the side of caution and cut your usual dose of each in half when you're combining them until you find your sweet spot...

This is great feedback. There are def concerns with running them together but they both work on 2 different systems. One vascular and the other nervous. So I imagine they can be used together.

For me, PT-141 typically does the trick...but sometimes takes 4 to 6 hours before it really kicks in. Seems to be dose dependent. 10 units and it kicks in 8 hours later. 15 units and it kicks in 6 hours later. 20 units and it's on within 4 hours. Dog gone stuff gives me spontaneous erections (plural) once it kicks in. As you've noticed, subsequent doses a few days apart and it tends to lose effectiveness.

Trimix? For me - 6 to 8 units then 5 to 10 minutes later and I'm ready for business!

Interesting to hear that the Defy doc said it's OK to take the two together as a stack. Maybe if I took a low dose of PT-141, wait a few hours for it to kick in and then top that with 5 to 7 units of Trimix. Whoa boy! Better eat my Wheaties!

I might just have to give that a shot (or in this case, a double shot).

We haven’t seen any cases of priapism (up to now) with concurrent use of trimix and PT-141, but that’s not to say it can’t happen. As always, the dose of trimix should start low and go slow as this will be the primary risk factor for priapism. I would recommend ordering and having on hand the phenylephrine injection (the “antidote”) as a safety net when using trimix and PT-141 concurrently to be safe.
