My blood results on test propionate

For the last 3 months, I have been taking testosterone propionate for TRT. Prior to that, I was taking testosterone phenylpropionate at 10mg per day, along with 75iu of HCG per day. For the record, I would say I feel better on test propionate then test phenylpropionate. Libido has gotten a tad bit better. My dosage on test propionate has been 10mg per day (IM), along with 75iu of HCG per day (SQ) before bed. I had 2 test done over a 25 hour period. My doctor did not want to include SHBG on the first test. Here are my results. Any thoughts ?

Estradiol 29 pg/mL
Testosterone total 790 ng/dL
Testosterone free 17.6 ng/dL

25 hours after injection

Estradiol 26 pg/mL
Testosterone total 571 ng/dL
Testosterone free 12 ng/dL
SHBG 31.4 nmol/L
Albumin 4.7 g/dL

Hey!

Glad to hear you're feeling better on test propionate! Your labs look decent, but your free testosterone drops significantly between 12-25 hours. You might want to consider adjusting your dosage to maintain a more stable level. Also, your SHBG is a bit high, which could be affecting your free testosterone. Worth discussing with your doc!

Why are you dosing before bed and not in the morning?
How did you find a lab that's open so late at night to test 25hrs after your dose?

I dose it before bed out of convenience. I have obscure hours at my work place so I normally inject at around 6:30am and go to bed. The lab opens at 7:30am. Thats why I was able to test 25 hours later

never heard of phenylprop. i am also on prop, somewhere around 20-30mg/day (still looking for perfect dose and experimenting). the peaks/low are expected, and I do think they are highly beneficial as they give your body a 'break', somewhat like natural T (but not exact). my HTC went down 1pt on Tprop and I got less anxiety overall. what i learned that it takes about 4h to reach total peak after injection, you can dig some of my old posts, but i had 2 readings in 1 day 6am injection 8am labcorp 1, 10am labcorp 2. the peaks and lows can be really different, and again, expected due to 1/2 life, but this steady state mantra makes zero sense IMHO, as everything improved on Tprop for me big time.

Ok that explains it then. You're basically nocturnal
Your blood tests results are unusual for someone on Prop, though. Normally you see a much greater difference between peak and trough levels.
How does your libido on Prop compare to other protocol ls you've tried?
Are you also taking Cialis?

Do you take hCG as well? I wonder how adding about 350iu hCG every 3 days would change the way someone on daily Prop would feel.

yes, something like 3x1000IU. huge libido booster. there is a point where my e2 will ramp up too high and that is my max dose, which is around 3x1000IU.

Is this guy you on T-Nation? Seems like it might be, because you have the same protocol and the same experiences with prop and hCG: HCG, water retention, and bloating

I would say it, libido, has been the best on propionate. I don't take cialis, but will take levitra before going at it, sometimes
Probably the drop wasn't to significant because I was injecting into the smaller muscle groups before I had my blood test

That's a very high dose of hCG! It doesn't surprise me that you would experience high E2 symptoms!

I don't remember sorry. I vaguely remember that I did once and it matched my first reading. when I was on Tcyp 150mg/week my levels were roughly what mi 1st AM reading is, so the peak of Tprop is much higher
