I have been taking metformin for about a month, mainly for its health protective potential and to help me lose a little weight. I do not have diabetes. I have lost a few pounds, but I think it may be lowering my libido. I did not know that could be a possible side effect until I read it somewhere, and it might just be age. I am hoping I am wrong, but can low libido be a complication of metformin
