Increased libido then nothing

Hey guys, I’m a 61 year old retired Navy nurse. My wife insisted a start trt due to zero libido. Labs confirmed I was low (229) and after starting in 100 mg cypionate weekly, three weeks later I was like wow wee! There was serious passion in the BR. Unfortunately, 3 months into it, I seem to have declining libido along with increase OSA symptoms. Could my free testosterone be low? My 6 week lab follow up (done 5 days post injection) showed a total testosterone 645 in Mid August, it’s now 3 November. I’m wondering if available testosterone is low & total T is converting to estradiol. Any suggestions? I do follow up labs on 23 December.

The spikes in T on injectable T is very unnatural (long and gradual) and therefore has the potential to cause problems in certain individuals.

Also guys that start out higher than what was natural for them has the potential to cause numerous side effects, one such example is the body down-regulates to protect itself from an onslaught of hormonal signaling.

If you spend enough time on this forum, you'll start to see various men on different protocols and that's because hormone response is unique to the individual.

What your labs didn't show was the large difference between peak and trough levels.

Take a guy and split his dosage up daily and the hormone profile and mg release is miles apart even if the levels are the same.
