Help with blood work...

Hi guys

Awesome thread, its been very useful for me to do some reading up. I have just recently had some bloodwork done and thought that the DHEA levels are a bit low. I'm also worried about FSH, but that can be saved for another thread.

I want to know if I'm better off trying preg and seeing how I react to it. I've read a lot of the posts but I still don't understand how taking DHEA and preg is better than just preg. Also, if I do understand why taking DHEA & preg is better, I am opting for a really low does (5mg) as I already have severe hair loss.

My lab results below. Any comments highly appreciated as I am tired of Googling lol

I have never had high E2 and most often tend toward my E2 being too low, even though I use no AI. Also, the last thing I want to do is lower my DHT - DHT is required for a strong libido.

Gotcha - I've never had my E2 tested and am very very lean. no gyno or anything like that. As such, I dont know if E2 could be an issue. Testing is expensive here in UK too.

How do you feel overall? If you are feeling good, then you most likely have no E2 issues to contend with.

Low E2 typically means joint pain and ED that cannot be resolved with Viagra or Cialis, while high E2 often comes with flushing, higher BP, swollen ankles (water retention) feeling hot, ED, anxiety amogst others.

For hair loss, many folks on the forum here use a shampoo called Nizoral as it can reduce DHT right on the scalp where you want it reduced instead of all through your body. I have not used it myself, but other folks her may chime in on how it works for them.
