Free vs. bioavailable testosterone

HarveyMushman - ... sub lingual HCG doesn't work, so getting it inexpensively is still no bargain.

+ + + +

HarveyMushman,

Your result of 2941 (348-1197) is erroneous. The sample was contaminated by the T cream.

... it is somewhere between unlikely and impossible that sublingual HCG ( raised serum T to 2941 ng/dl ) ...
... may benefit from restart protocol (HCG mono, Clomid) rather than TRT.

... Injection is the only viable delivery method (of hCG).

Tom, ditch the compounded hCG lozenges. I'm not an MD. If it were me I'd discuss with my doc a prescription of Novarel, a reliable brand of hCG, and dosing somewhere around 350 IU EOD via 31 G needle IM or SQ which is very easy to do.

I'd also want to try the restart. Either way I'd have a strong supplement-nutriton-lifestyle-sleep enhancement program in place to support endogenous T production if tapering off T or healthy metabolism if staying on it.

Without going overboard with the sketchy or high priced supplements take a look at the following. If you already take supplements re-examine the purity and compare dosages to those recommended in the stickies here.

After whole fresh food, a few anti-oxidants and metabolic enhancers in USP powder form or liquid are generally agreed upon as beneficial.
I have issues with the following list but it's a decent quick reference:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/supplement-guide.html

Pick six and source them well, not from retail shops. For example DHA/EPA are better choices than fish oil and may be covered by insurance. ALA or (RLA), ALC, Green Tea extract, NAC, COQ10, Astaxanthin, collagen, L-glutamine, gene's NO stack make it to my own list of regulars.

I talked to a couple pharmacists who have many customers on sublingual HCG before I started taking it and they told me they have had very positive results with it.... but then I have read the opposite too ???

The pharmacists are either ill-informed, lying, or have discovered a COMPLETELY NOVEL delivery method and kept it secret from everyone else. Pick up a $5 pregnancy test over-the-counter...that will tell you if the hCG is getting into your system or not.

@coastwatcher........Good question but I don't think so, I wouldn't use the testosterone until after the test was done in the morning so it would have to have still been there from the day before and after a shower??

@ Re-ride....... My diet is not great but not bad and I try to eat a lot of organic food and I take pretty comprehensive supplements from Vitamin Research Products and Life Extention but I do drink too much craft beer...lol...lots of good breweries in Los Angeles area now...... Have to look at the HCG

Dr Justin.........so if the HCG is getting into my system the pregnancy test will be positive??!! I will try that in the next couple days...thanks!

Thank you all for the input..

Hi Folks,

I got my blood test results and now I am really confused...lol..

I changed my Anastrozole after my October blood test from 1/2 to 1MG per week. That is all I changed.

My October readings were;
Hematocrit-51 (37.5-51)
Testosterone Total-961 ng/dL (348-1197)
Testosterone Free-31.2 PG/mL (7.2-24)
Estrodial Sensitive-74.9 (8.0-35)

3-9-16 Test
Hematocrit-48.1 (37.5-51)
Testosterone Total-512 ng/dL (348-1197)
Testosterone Free-13.4 pg/mL (7.2-24)
Estrodial Sensitive-10.5 (8.0-35)

My Testosterone Free and Total dropped by approx half and my Estrodial plummeted??

Also today I tried a pregnancy test about 2 hours after the sublingual HCG and it was negative so I guess you guys are right and it isn't working....

@vince.....Actually it is 200MG/ML I ML equals 4 clicks on the dispenser and I am using 3 clicks

@ERO With all due respect, I think you are missing the point...in June, my testosterone levels tripled and the only thing I changed was adding oral HCG. Unless the lab screwed up that is the fact....

@Torrential....I'm not sure what "secondary" means so I will have to look that up..

Thank you everyone for your imput.....I have to admit this is much more complicated than I thought it would be....

There are ZERO (0) ways on this planet that you're using 3 clicks of that, 150mg, A DAY, and pulling numbers like those two tests above.
Add in your clearly erroneous belief in oral HCG, maybe you're realizing that now, and then this "I only changed 1/2mg Anastrozole per week and all my numbers plummeted"...you're really...full of it, it's more like you're trolling and if that's not the case, you have a lot of trouble being honest about what your doing. At any rate, good luck to you as I'm done listening and trying fish through the attention seeking behavior(s).

@ Vince.....

Wow...are you somehow accusing me of lying?? What in Gods name would be the point of that?? Please tell me because I would love to know.... Seriously you need help...

Harvey,

What Vince is saying is: your lab results do not reflect the current protocol that you say you're following. It doesn't make sense to me either. About the only thing that makes sense on your lab work is your E2 crashing down to 10.5 on that last blood test. Your big dose of Anastrozole is no doubt responsible for that.

Jackie

Whatever Vince is saying, he is saying it like a complete douchebag..... maybe his paranoia and inappropriate anger are the the classic "roid rage" we hear so much about?? Maybe he's just an a-hole??

Once again I ask what would be the point of lying here?? I have never used any of these drugs until the last year and I don't know anyone using them that I can consult with. I talked to Nelson on the phone back last April and he seemed like a nice helpful guy. If I was some attention seeking loon as Vince accuses me of being why would I wait almost a whole year to post anything here??

Btw I realized in October I changed compounders and while the dose of testosterone didn't change, (150 MG cream) the medium they put it in did change so maybe that is responsible for the lower Testosterone numbers in my last test.....

Glad you confirmed the uselessness of that sublingual hCG with the urine hCG test (pregnancy test). Interested to hear the response of those pharmacists as you call them out on their BS. Work on getting some real/valid subcutaneously injectable hCG. Best of luck, Harvey.

Ahh - that's key. I'm no expert on the different compounds or creams and gels, but I do know guys who had good results with one type of cream or compound after they didn't have good luck with another. Apparently absorption can be different for different folks. Might be the cause of your lowered T levels if nothing else changed. (I'm assuming you are using the same location as always, and same way to measure and apply, etc).

And as mentioned above - it could be that and the doubled dose of anastrozole that impacted your E2 levels.
