Enclomiphene dose

I had at one point taken clomid 50mg 3x a week to resutls in 1000ng total test and above reference range free test. I had to stop due to eye floaters.

Now i bought some enclomiphene and wonder what dose I should start with. Technically if clomid is a 50/50 isomer, then 25mg 3x a week would be similar? However, enclo has a much shorter half life, so many 12.5mg EOD would be similar?

sorry, i edited my post. I switched to enclomiphene now and trying to figure out an equivalent dose.

You logic sounds reasonable, however there may be other variables involved. For example, if Zuclomiphene and Encomiphen compete for the same receptors, then removing Zuclomiphene could make the same dose of Enclomiphene effectively a higher dose. Hence, starting at a lower dose and working up if necessary seems more appropriate. As with every other dosing decision, experimentation, starting low and working up, is almost always the answer.

Until I went with 25mg enclo ED, nothing less moved the needle to optimize androgen levels. But I wonder if my floaters increased despite the lack of reports that enclo causes them unlike clomid. Just getting rid of the estrogenic isomer (zuclo) should be safe enough.
