Ejaculation effect on Prolactin blood levels

It's widely known that ejaculation temporarily increases Prolactin levels in the blood. That's why it's commonly recommended not to ejaculate 24 - 72 hours before running bloods, if Prolactin is included.

My question is, does anybody have a more specific idea about what change percent wise we can expect and what should be the optimal period of time to not ejaculate before a test? Obviously, you can just be safe and go with the common recommendation of 72 hours, but obviously this has some downsides if you are in an active relationship and your libido is quite high and you are running bloods quite often. For that reason it will be good to know if the safe period is potentially shorter than 72 hours.

I couldn't really find any reliable source on the topic. I can't really judge by my personal experience, because my Prolactin values vary quite a bit, no matter if I've ejaculated shortly before the test or not.

Thank you!
