Doctor recommended Natesto because of fertility concerns...other options?

My doctor is very open to different treatment plans, but initially recommended Natesto because I brought up I would like to potentially have children in the next few years. I don't remember my actual numbers, but I believe my total T levels were around 400 (which my doctor noted was in the normal range), but he said my free T was low (and I don't remember the number).

I have no problem with Natesto as a product, but holy shit is it expensive. Even with the savings plan, I'm looking at like ~$6000 a year.

Are there other options I should ask him about? He's very well respected and recommended around these parts.

I don't think I can edit my original message. I wanted to provide a bit more context:

I've suspected low T for awhile now: low libido, brain fog, general depressive symptoms, and I've always been a little dough-y physically. I've tried anti-depressants and they've never really done much for me.
