Have you tried viagra at all?after taking a break from cialis, and having really good libido and sex (i have 0 ED), i took another one yesterday (my typical 10mg dose) cause 'the benefits'. anxiety up, libido down, weird sinus issues (which i though are just allergies, which to some extent they are, but it makes them worse), penile sensitivity 100% down, orgasm quality down, and general feeling unwell TBH. and I had an amazing day, but couple hours after taking this I really felt unwell. the only side effect I did not have anymore is back pain. this is another long story however. I think I will abandon this stuff and stick to citruline for gym pumps
yep, i dont recall if I had the same negative effects, but I definitely prefer the short half life. might ask my doc for another RX. i think the most promising is avanafil but also the most expensive. indian pharma has it for like 1.25USD/100MG pill which is ok. apparently avanafil targets MOSTLY penile tissue and not all the other parts like cialis/viagraHave you tried viagra at all?
I’ll have to look into it, I haven’t the chance to try viagra yet but I’ll try both viagra and avanafil. Cialis is just rough for me, my symptoms are similar to yours. I forgot to add the stuffed nose to my too but I get that bad. Like I can’t even breathe out of it which is extremely uncomfortable for meyep, i dont recall if I had the same negative effects, but I definitely prefer the short half life. might ask my doc for another RX. i think the most promising is avanafil but also the most expensive. indian pharma has it for like 1.25USD/100MG pill which is ok. apparently avanafil targets MOSTLY penile tissue and not all the other parts like cialis/viagra
Do you mind sharing which indian pharm source has it this cheap? I'm seeing more like $4 per 200 mg tablet at alldaychemist.indian pharma has it for like 1.25USD/100MG
I did buy with them once. took 3 weeks to arrive. seems legit.Do you mind sharing which indian pharm source has it this cheap? I'm seeing more like $4 per 200 mg tablet at alldaychemist.
Actually, I started on Vitamin D recently and paid closer attention this time, and yeah, I think it does reduce libido. Wtf? Many people on reddit complaining of the same. Some theorize it relates to increased serotonin activity - ChatGPT also proposed serotonin modulation as a possible mechanism.Same libido crushing with the curcumin and zinc. I don't think I noticed anything with vitamin D though.
if anyone is interested (don't want to side track this thread too much sorry). I did receive the avanafil. brand sunrise, for whats it worth; Avana | Avanafil 50, 100, and 200 | ED Treatment - Sunrise RemediesI did buy with them once. took 3 weeks to arrive. seems legit.
I have had delayed ejaculation for years, that was before starting Tadalafil however. I have had no issues with Tadalafil.I use both generic Viagra and Cialis. I've never had any anxiety issues, loss of libido or delayed ejaculation. I'm sorry I haven't read through this whole thread so hopefully there are others like me.
what's your protocol, combining or using both medication Vince?I use both generic Viagra and Cialis. I've never had any anxiety issues, loss of libido or delayed ejaculation. I'm sorry I haven't read through this whole thread so hopefully there are others like me.
Now that's a dose! lol I'm glad it works. I am 38 and take them both as well, why I was askinFirst off I'm 70 years old. Before my workout I take 100 mg of generic Viagra. I also use 20 mg of generic Cialis daily.
I believe there is some confusion, I'd like to clarify this was not in the context of daily dosing. These were both one time doses, generally I dose EOD at 2.5mg. Also, I wasn't surprised about the delayed ejaculation; as its a well documented potential side effect. All I was trying to draw attention to was the odd drop in libido. Again, as stated in my original follow-up post, I have some theories, but nothing with much backing, just an n=1 anecdote I thought I'd share.Interesting thread, I don't know how I missed it.
First off, to the OP, 20mg is a very high dose. If it's prescription, then that is a VERY high dose. The Indian Pharma stuff is a bit watered down in my experience. I used to buy the 20's and cut them in half prior to going on daily prescription 5mg.
One thing that has not been mentioned is Tadalafils effect on blood pressure:
The effect of PDE‐5 inhibitors is not limited to the corpora cavernosa and they also vasodilate other vascular beds thereby reducing blood pressure. There was a concern that blood pressure decrease may cause CV side effects particularly in patients with CV risk factors. Kloner and colleagues in this issue showed that in subjects not receiving antihypertensive medications the incidence of hypotension related treatment emergent adverse events was low, but it was significantly higher in the tadalafil group than in the placebo group. 1 Most subjects (>90%) not receiving antihypertensive medications were normotensives, and in this group, lowering blood pressure by tadalafil may increase the incidence of hypotension‐related events. However, in hypertensive patients on antihypertensive medications tadalafil does not increase the hypotension related events.
20 mg would definitely have an impact on BP.
Hypotension has been linked to anxiety and depression:
Of special interest, a large Norwegian study of 65,648 men and women found a significant association of low blood pressure with anxiety and depression. The investigators reported an approximately 40% increase in the risk for anxiety or depression in individuals with systolic blood pressure measures in the lowest 5% of the population. Although there are several potential variables that may account for this finding such as the gender, age, use of specific antihypertensive medications, and the general health of the low blood pressure subjects, considering these variables in the analysis did not change the significance of the association in the study. Thus, there is again an increasing belief that some form of relationship exists between very low blood pressures and depressive symptoms.Low Blood Pressure and Depression

This may be a reason that after taking a 20mg dose the OP suffered some low BP side effects.
Here is an interesting study on Tadalafils effect on penile sensitivity:
Does the Daily Dose of Tadalafil for the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction Increase Penile Sensation? - Journal of Urological Surgery
Does the Daily Dose of Tadalafil for the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction Increase Penile Sensation? - Journal of Urological Surgeryjurolsurgery.org
Conclusion
We demonstrated a direct correlation between improvements in IIEF-5 scores and NCV values with the use of daily tadalafil and showed that age is a factor affecting the improvement in penile sensorial EMG findings. We interpreted that tadalafil exerts its effects on erectile sensation by preventing the development of apoptosis in corporal sinusoids, preserving the proportion of smooth muscles and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Also, a study of Tadalafil and ejaculatory time:
Effect of tadalafil 5mg daily treatment on the ejaculatory times, lower urinary tract symptoms and erectile function in patients with erectile dysfunction - PMC
To investigate the effect of a 5mg daily tadalafil treatment on the ejaculation time, erectile function and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in patients with erectile dysfunction. A total of 60 patients diagnosed with erectile dysfunction were ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.govResults
The mean age of the 60 participants was 50.4±7.9 and the mean baseline serum total testosterone, total cholesterol, and fasting blood sugar were 444.6±178.6ng dL-1, 188.7±29.6mg/dL-1,104 (80-360) mg dL-1, respectively. The mean baseline scores were 2.2±1.4 min for IELT, 9.5±3.7 for IIEF-5 and 14.1±4.5 for IPSS. Following the three-month daily 5mg tadalafil treatment, the scores were found to be 3.4±1.9 min, 16.1±4.7, and 10.4±3.8 for IELT, IIEF and IPSS, respectively. When the baseline and post-treatment scores were compared, a statistically significant increase was observed in the IELTs and IIEF-5 values whereas there was a significant decrease in IPSS (p<0.01).
Conclusion
A daily dose of 5mg tadalafil can be safely used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and LUTS, that prolongs the ejaculatory latency time.
