after taking a break from cialis, and having really good libido and sex (i have 0 ED), i took another one yesterday (my typical 10mg dose) cause 'the benefits'. anxiety up, libido down, weird sinus issues (which i though are just allergies, which to some extent they are, but it makes them worse), penile sensitivity 100% down, orgasm quality down, and general feeling unwell TBH. and I had an amazing day, but couple hours after taking this I really felt unwell. the only side effect I did not have anymore is back pain. this is another long story however. I think I will abandon this stuff and stick to citruline for gym pumps

yep, i dont recall if I had the same negative effects, but I definitely prefer the short half life. might ask my doc for another RX. i think the most promising is avanafil but also the most expensive. indian pharma has it for like 1.25USD/100MG pill which is ok. apparently avanafil targets MOSTLY penile tissue and not all the other parts like cialis/viagra

I’ll have to look into it, I haven’t the chance to try viagra yet but I’ll try both viagra and avanafil. Cialis is just rough for me, my symptoms are similar to yours. I forgot to add the stuffed nose to my too but I get that bad. Like I can’t even breathe out of it which is extremely uncomfortable for me

Actually, I started on Vitamin D recently and paid closer attention this time, and yeah, I think it does reduce libido. Wtf? Many people on reddit complaining of the same. Some theorize it relates to increased serotonin activity - ChatGPT also proposed serotonin modulation as a possible mechanism.

if anyone is interested (don't want to side track this thread too much sorry). I did receive the avanafil. brand sunrise, for whats it worth; Avana | Avanafil 50, 100, and 200 | ED Treatment - Sunrise Remedies
is it legit? i get a stuffy nose lol, unless they package viagra instead. but it feels slightly different. I assume it is legit.
already on 5mg cialis daily, and I don't feel a whole lot added benefit. I get pretty hard without anything to begin with, so I get a pretty good bump with cialis already.
overall slight disappointment, it really feels like viagra a bit. suppose to have less side effects, but stuffy nose is bad (have chronic sinus issues so I am worse off then typical sucker). not getting any back pain, but then, even 20mg cialis doesn't give me any anymore (used to badly). half life is 4-6h, but taken at 5pm, i would get pretty hard consistent boners throughout the night, to the point of being annoyed and woken up.
it probably is a good viagra replacement if you get bad side effects from viagra, but the 1.25usd/100mg pill (indian) pricetag isn't just worth it.

Interesting thread, I don't know how I missed it.
First off, to the OP, 20mg is a very high dose. If it's prescription, then that is a VERY high dose. The Indian Pharma stuff is a bit watered down in my experience. I used to buy the 20's and cut them in half prior to going on daily prescription 5mg.
One thing that has not been mentioned is Tadalafils effect on blood pressure:
The effect of PDE‐5 inhibitors is not limited to the corpora cavernosa and they also vasodilate other vascular beds thereby reducing blood pressure. There was a concern that blood pressure decrease may cause CV side effects particularly in patients with CV risk factors. Kloner and colleagues in this issue showed that in subjects not receiving antihypertensive medications the incidence of hypotension related treatment emergent adverse events was low, but it was significantly higher in the tadalafil group than in the placebo group. 1 Most subjects (>90%) not receiving antihypertensive medications were normotensives, and in this group, lowering blood pressure by tadalafil may increase the incidence of hypotension‐related events. However, in hypertensive patients on antihypertensive medications tadalafil does not increase the hypotension related events.
20 mg would definitely have an impact on BP.
Hypotension has been linked to anxiety and depression:

I have had delayed ejaculation for years, that was before starting Tadalafil however. I have had no issues with Tadalafil.
