I have been on TRT for 28 years. As with most people who are long-term folks, I've had issues with high red blood cell production for years. I use therapeutic phlebotomies every two months to keep my crit in line. But my ferritin has been low for many years. I'm around 15 and just tired all the time. I know hepcidin is involved in this process, and we don't yet know much about the mechanism.
Are there any other long-term people out there who have found a solution?
Just in case anyone is wondering, my T levels w/ replacement are in the 500s. I've never been a supra-guy. I was diagnosed with hypopit in my 20s.
