can testosterone cause chest pain and effect eyesight?

I’ve had similar symptoms after the first week. I have been taking 50 mg twice a week and after the first few days I thought I caught a bad flu and after about a week the flu symptoms were pretty much gone but I felt shortness of breath and sharp chest pains on my inner left chest after injections. I do suffer from bad anxiety and have had these symptoms in the past but I’m trying to figure out if trt is causing this now and weather this will go away or do I need to stop. I have been on trt for two weeks now and do believe I’m starting to get a few of the positive effects, I feel more energetic and feel my libido is starting to go up. If anyone knows anything on this or has found the issue I would really appreciate it.
It's the testosterone flu, I had it to. It did take about 2 weeks before it was gone but when I had the flu my libido was through the roof along with my energy level.

I’m feeling the libido and energy now. It’s nice to be able to get through a whole day of work without feeling extremely fatigued midway through. But this tightness and discomfort by my heart causes a lot of anxiety. I have been doing research and it’s a lot more common than I thought. I can’t seem to find a direct answer to what’s causing this. I am setting up an appointment with my doctor but I wish I knew what is causing this. I read that certain kinds of anemia caused by vitamin deficiencies could have something to do with it.

Also a day or two before I’m due for another injection I get awful hot flashes, the same type of chest pains and the occasional marked shortness of breath. perhaps normal?
When I donated blood too much, I crashed my ferritin levels and I experienced hot flashes. I always experience hot flashes right before I become iron deficient without anemia.

TRT can utilize more iron (ferritin) than someone not on hormone therapy due to the creation of higher hemoglobin concentrations.

I would also get chest pain and tightness after my injections, the cause, iron deficiency. I would even get palpitations.

Check your ferritin and iron saturation.

I have set up an appointment with my pp to see if I have other vitamin deficiencies. I have had a vitamin d deficiency and have to take 50000 units a week. I also just started taking iron, sink, and fish oil supplements nightly and really hope it helps. Thanks for your support guys.

On the third week of TRT and my Bp still rises at points through out the day and still experience chest pain. Started taking iton
And other supplements but it persisted. I went to urgent care last Thursday, Got an ekg, x ray, and blood work. They said there was nothing wrong with my heart. And the doc said it was linked to anxiety. I did start taking a smaller dose and it seems to be helping to an extent. I’m hoping my body just has to get used to the medication then I can go back to my starting dose of 100mg per week.

You reset everything by changing your dosage, you only delay the inevitable. Every time you change the dosage, another 4-6 weeks to reach steady states.

So by injecting a smaller dose, you hit pause of reaching a steady state until you return to your original dose.

Same dosage = steady state in 4-6 weeks.

Choose a dosage and stick with it for 6-8 weeks.
