I did some Googling and found conflicting opinions about this. Some say that a 1" needle isn't long enough to get deep into the muscle tissue and that some of medication will be poorly absorbed because of this. Others say that there is no issue using a 1" needle if you're a reasonably thin guy.
Thoughts on this?
I only have 1" 25G needles and have been directed to inject into my glutes. First injection went well from what I can tell, but I'm new to this so I probably wouldn't be able to tell if my injection was optimal yet. Should I be injecting into my delts or quads instead of my glutes until I get some 1.5" needles?
