Inverse association between dairy intake and hypertension: the Rotterdam Study - PubMed
Intake of low-fat dairy products may contribute to the prevention of hypertension at an older age.pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.govDietary intake of dairy products, calcium, and vitamin D and the risk of hypertension in middle-aged and older women - PubMed
Prospective data on the associations between intake of dairy products and its nutrient components with risk of hypertension remain limited. We therefore investigated the associations of intake of dairy products, calcium, and vitamin D with the incidence of hypertension in a prospective cohort of...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.govDairy food consumption, blood pressure and stroke - PubMed
Recent clinical and biochemical evidence supporting the hypothesis that consumption of dairy products may be associated with reduced blood pressure and risk of stroke is reviewed. The two prospective studies of dairy food consumption and stroke incidence both indicate that a higher intake of...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.govThe influence of dietary and nondietary calcium supplementation on blood pressure: an updated metaanalysis of randomized controlled trials - PubMed
We updated our previous systematic review of the effect of supplemental calcium on blood pressure. We extended our previous searches on MEDLINE and EMBASE to May 1997 and examined citations from relevant articles. We contacted the authors of eligible trials to ensure the accuracy and...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.govMilk protein peptides with angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibitory (ACEI) activity - PubMed
Bioactive peptides derived from milk proteins are currently of great scientific interest due to their beneficial health properties. The group of bioactive peptides most studied up until now are the angiotensin-I converting enzyme inhibitory (ACEI) peptides, which, when administered orally, seem...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.govCasein-Derived Lactotripeptides Reduce Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure in a Meta-Analysis of Randomised Clinical Trials - PMC

We're one week in to a no added sugar lifestyle. My wife and I have both noticed less creakiness and general aches and pains, most likely due to a reduction in inflammation. The cravings after the one week honeymoon phase are REAL.Agree with all except milk is incredibly unhealthy. Measurably and consistently raises inflammation markers, causes allergy flare ups, is a less healthy source of fat, etc. Almond milk is not amazing because the fiber is removed, but it is dramatically healthier than milk.
Totally agree vegetables are healthier than fruit in many cases, but fruit and its whole form is incredibly healthy, full of fiber, dense with nutrients, lots of water, content, low, calories, etc.
