Hey guys, first time poster here so I will try to keep this as simple and short as possible. I started TRT 3 months ago and here are my blood results.

I’m not too concerned with the high E2, I lowered my test dose and will get more blood work in 4-6 weeks. Im curious about being on the high end of red blood cell count and hematocrit possibly being an issue in the future?

Here was my dose/frequency.
200mg cyp a week (100mg Sunday morning, 100mg Wednesday evening, blood test was done weds morning, stopped any supplements with biotin 3 days prior.

I’ve since switched my dose to 150mg a week, split into 2 ( 7/28)

The first few weeks were amazing, I felt young again (36 next month) and my body didn’t ache like it normally does. Energy, mood, libido all improved.

Over the last 4-6 six weeks I sort of started feeling close to how I felt before starting test. Lower energy (nothing crazy) and my body feels about how it did before hand. There might not be much I can do about that, a lot of injuries and surgeries over the years. Mood and libido also dropped a bit

Too many hormones can be as bad as not enough. Seen it before countless times on these TRT boards.

You're operating well beyond your genetics.

Your hematocrit, hemoglobin and RBC count is perfectly normal, but in 12 months that could be another story as your body will find a new balance.

I'm on TRT and my RBC is slightly over the range, hematocrit 55% and hemoglobin 18-19.6. There is no long term data of men on TRT with induced secondary erythrocytosis which is the same condition you will experience at high altitude.

In my opinion it was not a good idea to start with 200mg per week but you figured that out yourself by switching to 150mg. Imo you don't have to worry about hematocrit, hemoglobin and RBC.
Do you have lab values from before you started TRT?

I’ll be honest and transparent, I did not get my labs done before hand. And I did not expect my trough to be 1100+ so i definitely should have started lower.

Unfortunately TRT is not a cure for everything. Maybe you even didn't need TRT. You made your choice... Just wait few weeks and observe how you feel on 150mg.

Will do. I jumped the gun and went about it the wrong way. Based off how I felt I would say I was low, but I have no way of knowing that now. And even if I was, I could have tried to raise it naturally first
