1ml/200 mg a week to much?

I've been on TRT for over a year now but recently was told to move up to 1ml/200mg a week. I pin three times a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at .333 ml each time to equal out the total 1ml a week.

I started this journey at 120 test and last I was test a month ago I was in the low 400's.

What should I up it? I thought 1ml was already a lot?
I already told you, 1.5 mL. Why would you ask the same question again?

You just showed us that .999 mL is only getting you into the low 400's, so I don't know what you would think this is already a lot.

You're not even getting midrange levels.

Systemlord--he is trying to tell you he is currently taking 120mg/wk and they want him to 200 via three weekly shots of .333ml each---worded a little cumbersome but it was easily discerned.
Low blood sugar??

lerodious89--Yes 200 mg/wk does sound like a lot to me--but I respond to low doses. A total t of 400 at 120 mg/wk does sound low--additional information from your recent labs would probably help -- many highly knowledgeable folks here--hope they respond!

Focus on the serum testosterone (free and total) numbers not on the mg’s. If you’re only at 400 test on 120mg/wk then 1ml/ week is a very reasonable next step.

First of seeing as you are injecting 3X/week when were your labs done?

We always want to test at the true trough (lowest point) before your next injection.

Standard 3 X week protocol would be M/W/F so testing at the true trough would be Monday morning (72 hrs post-injection).

You only stated TT which is important to know but FT is what truly matters as it is the active unbound fraction of T responsible for the positive effects.

If you are truly hitting a trough TT 400 ng/dL on 120 mg T/week split 3X/weekly than your trough FT would be subpar unless you have low SHBG and even then it would still not be stellar!

A dose increase would be justified if you are not hitting a healthy trough FT level.

Going from 120--->whopping 200 mg/week off the hop is overkill.

If anything going from 120--->160 mg/week would be a more sensible move as a 40 mg jump will easily drive up your TT and more importantly FT!

Always time to increase the dose further if need be!

Again you are injecting M/W/F so how many hours post-injection were labs done let alone where does your SHBG sit?

Need to know where your trough FT sits on your current protocol!
