Hi, I'm a 40 year old man, 178cm, 75kg. I do 4-5 sports a week.
For the last 4-5 years my libido and interest in women has decreased, I have a problem to maintain muscle mass and I can't build new one.
If I compare the libido 10 years ago, it's a drastic reduction.
My energy intake is 2500 - 3000 calories, 140-160 grams of protein, 100 grams of healthy fats and the rest carbohydrates.
I take zinc 50mg, magnesium 600-100mg, vitamin D 5000 UI.
I have tried tongakt ali, turkesterone, fadogia agrestis.
I have improved the quality of sleep, I sleep 7-7.5 hours, I get up without an alarm clock.
Problems persist.
I have had blood tests every month for the last 6 months and these are the average values.
Total Testosterone 15 nmol/l
Free Testosterone 36 pmol/l
Bioavailable Testosterone 72%
Estradiol 136 pmol/l
SHGB 23 nmol/l
Progesterone 1.1 nmol/l
Prolactin 6.7 ug/l
FSH 3 UI/l
LH 5 UI/l
S-DHEA 9 umol/l
According to the blood results I am OK and it is not for the indication of TRT. In my country it is not possible to get TRT at these testosterone values, I would have to have testosterone less than 8 nmol/l.
I tried 28 days of enclomiphene citrate 25mg in the evening.
Here are the results after a course with enclomiphene citrate.
Total Testosterone 37,65 nmol/l
Free Testosterone 87,17 pmol/l
Bioavailable Testosterone 97.77%
Estradiol 253pmol/l
FSH 8 UI/l
LH 12,75 UI/l
Regeneration, libido and strength have improved. I am aware that estradiol has been elevated.
Taking enclomiphene citrate long term and regularly is probably not the solution, e.g. 3 times a week 12.5 mg.
The only solution for TRT is to take UGL testosterone if I had to.
Everyone in my area discourages me from starting TRT on my own without a doctor's approval.
I would like to hear your opinion, comments. Has anyone had similar blood results and decided for TRT?
Thank you
