He ended up coming off everything after playing around with MAO inhibitors like I am and attributed all his issues to stress and a bad cutting cycle when he was a kid. He also tried to take down everything he wrote in most places as I recall, presumably to avoid leading people down the rabbit...
No. I had a personal connection for that but that’s since gone belly up so I don’t have access anymore. Which sucks because T4 + that was actually pretty great in most ways. I had some bad things happen that I had attributed to that at the time but figured out it was something else. Really wish...
TRT was basically built by bodybuilders screwing around with their hormones to look like the Hulk, and doctors looking at isolated bloodwork variables to get insurance to sign off on things. In the former context, AI’s probably do have a strong purpose in many cycles. Especially on some...
They’re obviously too high but in the short term if you just stopped test until they were down a bit and got on a more normal level you’d be fine. I wouldn’t be very worried since it’ll clear out in short order. Relax.
Regarding arimidex: the general wisdom now is that most people seem to do...
Got off with my doc just now, and as a further update, my DHEA-Sulfate levels on 400mg of pregnenolone were actually in the 60’s, which is pretty low despite all the HCG on top of that. SHBG was better than ever at 31 from 25ish. Not much better but still better. Morning cortisol was 8.4 or so...
When I used Quest it was LC/MS, but Labcorp was MS as that’s all I had access to when buying tests. Would have been nice to have both at Quest with the same test but my doc switched to Labcorp.
When you took your pregnenolone, did you take it all at once in the morning or night, or spread it...
Since we’re getting this stuff from Amazon in most cases, there’s also the chance that some of it’s not actually what’s in the bottle. That’s partly why I try to stick to brands I like and trust. Klaire Labs is good. Double Wood’s good. Gaia Herbs is good though I don’t know if they have any...
I don’t know if I’d call 600’s free t toxic so much as hilariously high. If I read all this correctly you injected 3ml subq? Did it leave a giant mound there?
Like others have said, if you stop injecting test, your test will go down. You wouldn’t take that other stuff unless you wanted to come...
There are the theoretical pathways of conversion, and what actually happens to you when you try it, and in my case my DHEA wasn’t up. I had that tested throughout. When I was on DHEA at 50-75mg my DHEA-Sulfate was in the high 200s low 300s as I recall over time. Dropping that but on all that...
I’ve tried the micronized kinds, like Klaire Labs and many others, and of them Klaire Labs would be my pick for the price. I didn’t notice any difference between theirs and Double Wood though, and Double Wood’s cheaper, so I settled on that. Plenty of times I was on Klaire Labs and other...
It’s been almost a year since I started taking 400mg of pregnenolone a day in the morning on an empty stomach. I’ve tried different brands but settled on the Double Wood brand from Amazon for the price and effectiveness. Had a brief time where I tried stopping here and there and didn’t feel as...
Considering how little of a fluctuation that is, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. NDT also isn’t as standardized as levothyroxine or liothyronine. There’s a lot of natural variation there. I’ve had very different numbers and felt very different on the same amount of NDT but from different...
I’ve historically had low cortisol levels so you’re preaching to the choir with that! Mine’s been bad enough before that my A1C gets flagged as too low. I see people complaining about theirs being higher and their cortisol being too high and their blood pressure going up and I’m almost envious.
It’s probably more that one of the mechanisms of Type 2 diabetes is too much fat getting stored in the wrong cells like muscles and that blocks the ability of them to receive nutrients.
You may be talking about the honeymoon phase of TRT and not low cortisol. I also have low cortisol issues. For me, it’s been a challenge, but the things that have worked best were figuring out different schemes of pregnenolone, T3 and T4, rhodiola, and potentially using cortisone acetate or...
Everything about it just worked better. No downsides, other than everything feeling good enough to get caught up in. It always felt better at 2.5 over 1.25, even same day, so I just went back to 2.5. I’m not personally willing to try more. It’s working well enough.
I’m paranoid so I keep mine...
I started Selegiline a little before he did as I recall. I’ve been on it for at least a month now. Started at 2.5mg a day for a few days then 1.25mg, and then back to 2.5mg. Sublingual in the morning. I love the stuff. It is a double edged sword in some ways because I can get lost in pretty much...
Over the past year since playing with thyroid hormones, my TT’s gotten lower and lower on the same dose with the same free t. Was 1320 then 1000ish then 900 and then 460. SHBG has been the same throughout. Bloodwork’s weird.
If your trough was in the 600’s at 60mg a week injected just the once, that is still a pretty good sign that bloodwork can be helpful as 600’s test is about average. Be interesting to know what your peak was. I’ve had my total t come back at 460 peak on 170mg a week injected daily.
If even if the transition was better for you, that could be a sign for many guys that it could be the right direction for them, which they could experience quickly in lowering the dose. Whenever I transitioned to a lower dose it was progressively harsh and never really got better, and when I...
Is there anything else about your blood work or symptoms you could list for people that they might compare themselves to in order to help decide if they might be someone like you that benefitted from a very low dose? I know high SHBG is one you mentioned.
Mine’s not super low but it’s lower by...
T4 helps counter it if I take it at night, yes. In the morning and it’ll be worse. T3 taken at night also makes my dick worse. In the morning and throughout the day it’s less bad. I’m trying to go without T4 because that also makes my hair fall out. I could go without the motivation and other...
You could always try changing the timing or dosing of the thyroid meds. I do better with smaller hits of them spread out, which in my case probably means I’m using them for stimulation more than anything else, but I react very differently when I take things in the morning or night or whatever...
Girl I know on E2 replacement after menopause usually get horny again. Being able to keep the same partner forever and enjoy it also requires a level of emotional maturity not all women have.
That’s a tough spot to be in. If your cortisol is too high at the wrong times, you could try taking Ashwagandha around those times to try to keep it in check and reset your rhyme. If it’s too high when you sleep, your sleep won’t be as productive and you could be missing out on things like...
Did you happen to see what your Thyroid/T3 numbers were before taking it, while taking it, and then now? How much HCG did you try and at what dosing pattern?
That’s a tough one. What’s your diet like? And what’s your TRT protocol like? I recently did an experiment with lowering my dose and I actually had more penile sensation, but I also lost the desire to use it so I went back. Doing a selegiline experiment right now.
