HCG change from USP to Pregnyl sudden side effects

I don't have an AI but next time I see my doc I will ask for a script for cases like this. I am injecting twice a week so it should calm down fairly quickly if I skip the next one. HCG half life appears to be around 2.5 days.

HCG change from USP to Pregnyl sudden side effects

Thank you. I had no idea! I guess the old stuff was a lot weaker. I will try lowering the dose some more.

HCG change from USP to Pregnyl sudden side effects

Hi All, My pharmacy was out of my regular HCG USP and switched me to Pregnyl. They said is would be the same but I have been having sudden insomnia and just a general increase in nervous energy that is hard to explain. I have tried reducing my dosage to half which seems to help somewhat. Any...

IGF-1 Out of range. Cause for concern?

I was at 167 right before starting and 181 a few months after starting. So I guess I was already above the mean according to the reference range.

IGF-1 Out of range. Cause for concern?

I've been on TRT for around 18 months. 50mg x2week plus HCG 500iu x2week. My free t and estrogen run high but I don't really have any sides and my Hematrocrit stays steady around 49. But on the last test my IGF-1 came back at 219 ug/L with a ref range of 65-200 ug/L. I assume this is because I...

    Anxiety about IM injections

Regarding delts: I have tattoos on both my delts. Any issues injecting into tattoos?

    Anxiety about IM injections

Yes I meant to say shallow IM with a insulin needle, but I guess I could continue using the switchable syringe just with shorter needles. I have a bunch of 29 gauge 1/2" insulin syringes for HCG so maybe I will just use those for now. I am using Delatestryl so 50mg is only 25ml, which should not...

    Anxiety about IM injections

I am so glad I started this thread, I am not sure why I didn't think of just switching to a subQ in the delt or even in the ventroglute. I guess because before I was using subQ in my side belly fat and it was giving me bruises. Thanks everyone!

    Anxiety about IM injections

Good point. I have the insulin needles for HCG. When I changed to 2x per week I switched to longer switchable needles because it took so long to fill the insulin syringe and I had some tell me it’s better to go deep with shots.

    Anxiety about IM injections

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, maybe that may work for me. Do you know of any good instructional vids? I will take a look on youtube.

    Anxiety about IM injections

Hey All. I have been on TRT for about a year. I started with daily subQ injections for the first four months, then switched to 2x weekly IM in the ventroglute with a 1 1/2inch needle. Felt better after the switch but I also added HCG at the same time. I was switching sides every injection and...

Delatestryl (TE) drug shortage across Canada

I almost switched to Natesto because I couldn't find any test cyp or Delatestryl in BC. The pharmacy had to order the Natesto because they had never dispensed it. But when I went in to pick it up, they said they had just received a single vial of test cyp. So I have avoided the Natesto for now...

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

I gave Tyrosine a shot but it seems to upset my gut at higher doses. It didn't make the Ritalin start working again but it did seem to give a little lift. A lot of people say they need to cycle Tyrosine or else it loses effectiveness. I'm going to try running it again to see what happens. I have...

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

The Ritalin stopped working after about a month of amazing results. I have been off for over a week because I am doing a few weeks of Ketamine infusions. I doubt I will go back on it. I think you may be right about the constant use of these stims. I am considering trying dexedrine as long as I...

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

Yes, good point. Also, I assume our levels are not impacted by poor sleep. When I get a crappy sleep now I still get up and do my training as if I got 8 hours.

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

As usual, thanks for your insight madman. This made me lol when I read it. I am still new to reading blood biomarkers so I still don't have a clear understanding of the relative values, especially when it comes to troughs etc. I also tend to watch and listen to a lot of guys who are doing...

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

Interesting, well maybe I may have to reduce my dosage. I guess I will see what the doc says. I hate to reduce when I'm feeling all the benefits and my hematocrit going lower. The only thyroid test I got was TSH and it has not changed since I started TRT.

    Blood Tests 8 Months In

Hey all, just got my blood results in. I have been on TRT (100mg/week) since July 2022, I am 54. I told my doc in November that I didn’t like the testicular atrophy, so he gave me a script of HCG, 500iu, twice per week. Starting in November, I also switched from daily to twice per week of...

    Inositol

Tried 18g the other night and woke up with a serious migraine. The inositol was a little old and past the expiry date so that may have been a factor. I purchased some new stuff and will slowly try to build up the dose. I seem to be susceptible to migraines because other supps like NAC and...

    Inositol

Anyone use inositol for anxiety/ocd? The suggested dosage is around 18g/day for these conditions. I have used it in the past and seemed to work great for sleep at times and then not at all. I have also found if I take it for a week or two I start feeling a little sluggish during the day, but it...

Testosterone Induced Hair Loss: Revifol Hair Growth Supplement

Some people seem to have success with RU58841 which is a topical androgen blocker that doesn't seem to go systematic as topical finasteride does. Topical finasteride seems to have fewer side effects than oral but I am not sure why because it affects plasma DHT levels similarly to oral. Some...

Using some Boosts - blood test input

For most people lowering saturated fat lowers LDL/ApoB. Some people don't respond much to changes in saturated fat. The range of the increase/decrease varies significantly between people. Also as mentioned above there seem to be differences in how the saturated fats from certain foods (ie milk...

First Blood Test at 12 Weeks

Thanks madman. I live in BC. The reasons I started with daily are because my hematocrit had been at the top of the range (50-51) for the past couple of years without any TRT. Also, I had a lowish SHBG reading before starting (23.4nmol/L). I had quite a poor sleep before that reading so this may...

First Blood Test at 12 Weeks

I would rather not quit, I was ready to go in and ask my doc for an increase in dosage, because the benefits have been ok so far but nothing great. I was really enjoying the gym gains while they lasted, I would like to get back to that point at least. But then seeing my estradiol levels made me...

First Blood Test at 12 Weeks

Hi All, I started TRT in August. I am doing daily SubQ .14ml of Test Cyp. I am 53. I just went for my first blood test at 12 weeks and I was a little disappointed that my estradiol is showing as quite high, while my total T isn’t all that high. Here are the results: Estradiol...

48 years old with 'low normal' levels. TRT?

Thanks for the replies madman and Vince! Good point about the cortisol, I assumed that being in the lower end of the range would be the best. I will ask the doc about the more comprehensive cortisol test. I have been experiencing some sleep issues over the past 8 months or so. I get to bed...

48 years old with 'low normal' levels. TRT?

Hello All, I am 48 years old and have been having a noticeable loss of motivation, concentration, and mental sharpness over the past year. Libido had been trending down for a few years also, but is still ok. I wanted avoid SSRIs but was considering something like Wellbutrin, Modafinil or even...
